Hi,

will be there monthly builds done in the future? After the last news from the lineageos team I am unsure. I understand that only security patches and bugfixes will be merged. No more developing what I totally understand.

Bluetooth does not work any more. I can no longer pair devices and those who were paired before no longer connect.

Hi everyone,
I purchased a Galaxy S7 1 month ago and installed successfully LinageOS 14.1. - January build. I also use TWRP as recovery mode tool.
As stated above, with the February build, Bluetooth basically stopped working (-> I will try the unofficial latest version, as stated above).
How can I make a back-up of my current build?
But I have another problem: my SD card is not detected, although I checked the following error sources (1. Wrong format 2. SD card is not compatible with device 3. Memory card broke down or damaged 4. Change your file manager 5. Format your memory card 6. Use a card reader 7. Check the card for physical damage). This problem was also occuring in January Build.
Thanks for any advice. Paul

In-call mic problem

Is anyone still facing a problem with in-call mic after disconnecting Bluetooth system? I've already tried editing build.prop, installing google's phone app, and installing modules in magisk ( RR low in-call volume fix and Android mic fix). Nothing helped. I'm looking for any other ideas.

Hello,
same bluetooth problems with February build. No connect with JBL speaker and also no connect wit car. I used the build from November and all worked fine. I wiped Cache and Dalvik before and after image flashing.
So I dont't think, it's a flashing or hardware problem. The bug is in the February image.
Cheers, Rainer

The same bluetooth issue for me

Hello,

I have the same issue with bluetooth: connection to a device constantly is being lost and reconnected. The same for my bt headphones and my bt speakers.
Version: lineage-14.1-20190224-nightly-herolte

These things happen, that's cool.
The question though is if there will be a hotfix update to the official 14.1 ? Anyone can comment on that?
As mentioned above by @rho-bot, 14.1 has been discontinued for new features. There is no official 15.1.
If there will not be a fix, need to switch an unofficial version, as mentioned by @turbolukex5 .

I'm having issues moving files to a micro sd card. Is there something I can do about it?

flash my kernel fix and tell me ... don't forget to do "format data" in TWRP, not only wiping but full data format to disable encryption ! (the button on the right)

Yeah I am totally aware of the Exynos nightmare, I was just wondering how they dealt with previous CM versions. Were there an official support for CM13,14,... for S6 and S7 (both missing from lineage offficial) or was it always based on unofficial built?
Official builds will come the next week ;)

Weekly builds have been re-enabled and I have joined official herolte/hero2lte LineageOS maintainers.

The following device-specific things are fixed in today's build:
    • BUGBASH-1270 OTA updater (thanks @fabwu for doing most of the work). Ota updates will start to work AFTER manually installing this build and TWRP version 3.2.1-1 (or newer). CC: @Blato @pluto123 @gnarf49
    • BUGBASH-840 Low microfone recording volume
    • BUGBASH-1169 Inability to play videos and phone overheating + draining battery, after playing some/many videos (this is fixed by workaround, proper fix will be included in one of further builds)

Samsung releases kernel source with almost all major update, so we have sources, and (on Google git) it's available the exynos5 userspace source (deprecated, but modified to work with new devices by cm staff)

So, it's true, we doesn't have "proper and specific" source for every device like qcom has, but we have a great group of people working every day to make this happen, backtracing, decompiling apps and lib, researching how the weird Sammy works...
