It is a stock based, so with Gapps. The option to search threads does not work here, sorry. So, I have to ask. Is this ROM without GAPPS? I look for GAPPS-free.
Hi,Hi,
March update went bad. I lost root and don't know how to fix that, other than making a clean install, which would be a pain. I have a magisk 24.3 installed with no root on board.
Suggestions?
Yes. I do have encryption.Hi,
by curiosity: do you have encryption enabled?
There is an option (independent to above) that one of Magisk modules messed heavily with system, from practical aspect I'd recommend uninstalling Magisk modules before ROM update, but it can be too late to apply such.
Normal.I'm currenty on the latest DEVBASE and TWRP, but would like to factory reset, that is not possible due to encryption. Anyone a idea how to remove encryption? Wiping data or internal storage won't work, TWRP will not budge.
Also flashing stock rom with ODIN will not work :/
Thanks spamtrash, but unfortunately there is no Encrypt Device nor Decrypt Phone. I encrypted using the provided encryption option from DevBase eg.: G960Fxxx_DevBase_v6.x_encrypt.zipNormal.
Go to settings -> Lock Screen ->Screen Lock type: set to swipe.
then: Settings-> Biometrics and Security-> Encytpt Device->Decrypt Phone
then you shall be able to perform the factory reset either from TWRP of from the phone.
WARNING: during clean install, if you choose during setup PIN, fingerprints etc(other than swipe or pattern): your phone will be encrypted by default.
I flashed the 9.0 devbase and it worked, but now it is not detecting my SIM card.....any help guys?hey @_alexndr I want to go from Q to Pie again, but cannot flash stock rom because of latest bootloader versin. Is it possible to flash Pie based Devbase via TWRP to go back to 9.0?
i completely wipe evrything before flashing a latest stock firmware via odin and latest twrp. and wiping data after intalling twrp and then install this rom with _noroot then boom still bootloop. if i install with root evrything is fine.Have you previously completely wiped the smartphone? If so, flash an original ROM via ODIN before and then try again.
