- USB Audio Mod - Download
Flash this file to allow USB Audio functionality to work 100%. This will work in conjunction with my kernel and allow you to use external DAC's and bypass the internal audio hardware/software completely. This
provides MUCH better sound quality and higher bitrates (depending on the DAC you choose to use).

Enjoy!!!!!!!

Thanks for the work, man!
About to flash it now.

Edit: Just a side note to everybody - make sure to hard reset before flashing this.. I flashed it, and tried to get away without doing it, and its almost unusable, haha. Runs like total crap, until I hard reset it now. ;)

Edit 2: Actually, I think this rom itself is what has caused my digitizer unusable.. I know it sounds stupid, but once I flashed the rom, the screen now responds for a few seconds, and then stops for a few seconds (same with touch buttons on bottom.) I've looked into it quite a bit today, and it seems like the touch panel driver has gotten corrupt, or needs to be reinitialized - which can only be done within the kernel. If none of this is making any sense, please read here (a supposed fix is on page 3, btw) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1252829 and the people in that thread are having the exact same issue that I'm having. @arshull - are you able to write something into that custom kernel that you're working on, that will clear this issue up? My tablet is useless now, haha.

Bizare....must be the stock kernel but I've never encountered any problems and I believe you are the first to mention it.

I just uploaded the new kernel version. Go to that thread and flash it.

No luck at all with your custom kernel fixing the issue. :'(
This is probably the most annoying thing that I've ever had happen, haha.
It's pretty much brand new, so I'm wondering if maybe I should just RMA it and get a replacement.. But I feel like it's going to happen again down the road with another update, or whatever else would read a file from that directory that the tps driver is located in.

Don't know. No one else has had this problem (that I know of). Could be caused by a million different things. Bad download, flashing something else along with kernel, flashing another devices rom/kernel/firmware, etc..... The 10' model uses completely different hardware and drivers, so a problem with that device is not related to the 8" model.
Recommend downloading the stock firmware and flashing via Odin.

Oh yeah, I'm aware that the 10" problems are irrelevant to the 8" model as well. Their issue is 100% identical to mine, after I booted into the rom, however. The order in which I did everything was like this...
1 - Flashed TWRP rev. 3 with Odin
2 - Rooted and installed SuperSU
3 - Used for about 3 weeks, only using it for Twitter, and Xbmc, and never had a single problem with it.
4 - Installed GalaTab3 rom zi with TWRP from internal sd.
5 - Rebooted, and digitizer is very sporadic.
6 - Flashed GalaTab kernel with TWRP

I'm not arguing with you or anything like that, just simply listing the steps that everything happened. :)
Thank you for the help, anyway. If you need me to dump any files for analysis, before I RMA it, let me know.
Or, if you'd like to create a flashable zip that contains all of your stock touch panel drivers/config, I could try that!

Love the ROM! However, I am having a couple of issues: Titanium Backup will not integrate Dalvik into the ROM (i.e Odex the ROM) All other root functions seem to work fine. Only this problem with TiBU. Also, Adobe Flash Player is not working and I have it working on other devices running Android 4.1.2, 4.2.2 and 4.3. Does anyone have any explanations or suggestions?

FYI, I'm finalizing some new mods and features for a new release of this ROM. It's going to be some nice additions with several new mods that accessible from the settings menu. I'm also working on porting a great theme but may add that as an extra feasible zip bc it will take some extra time to finish. I'll update the op once I've finished and completed testing.
