your jap varient can flash same rom and kernel as g9350. they are identical. I can also make you a G9350D kernel too, I already added the assert to Lineage14 to the device tree and its in the kernel already.

I tried flashing another rom before and soft bricked my phone, I'll try again tomorrow to see if I can actually install something. I'm already sick of touchwiz and having no root access to install xposed.

Does flashing another rom remove the provider simlock btw?

check_pit_integrity: invalid pit magic code.(0x0) is stopping it booting and doing live, this is cuz efs is not being mounted correctly. Help fix that and its good to go.

I'll let the community figure this one out. I'm very exhausted on the project.

What're the exact bugs? And what does this mean? "â€"

The guy used and posted others work here on xda which is not allowed. So i guess this thread should be closed as long as we do not know whats going on here and who is the actual developer and what is the source. Anyways "â€" this means that he copied the entire text from another forum and pasted it here.

EDIT: i am not sure about using others work, but there is no enough info in general :)

Stupid question but I can't find an answer elsewhere. I have a G930AZ that's running Echoe, which identifies the device as a G935. Is it possible for me to use an S7 Edge ROM on a conventional S7? If so does this CM release care about which carrier the phone uses?

If they have unlocked bootloader (which most of them don't if not all) + a small build.prop edit and sure. But since they have locked bootloader.. no. Hope someone will find a way to unlock bootloader on US s7 edge.

What are you meaning by a "small build prop edit"?

I mean I am a little confused. This is for the snapdragon variants so wouldn't it work on US versions of the s7 edge?

Galaxy S7 Edge CM13 (CyanogenMod 13, hero2qltechn) Marshmallow ROM is an unofficial build brought to you by developer travis82. This is a BETA status ROM which may have minor BUGs and hence, please take a backup using a synchronization application or using Samsung Smart Switch or if you have TWRP installed then boot into TWRP recovery and take a NANDROID backup using the TWRP itself before flashing this ROM.

    CAUTION:
Before proceeding further you may consider backup your all data. You are the only person doing changes to your phone and I cannot be held responsible for the mistakes done by you. Neither the developer nor we will be held responsible for any disaster that happens to your device.
