Maybe Gingerbread did not support NTFS. Have to ask google for more information. CM9 supports ntfs. you can try latest build and add my kernel.Still no joy! My NTFS-formatted card keeps not being recognized. The new zImage was placed in /system/bootmenu/2nd-boot and its permissions and ownership were changed according to the original file. Once again, going back to Quarx's 11/17 build.
Thanks, anyway.
Thanks will try it later. You need ntfs-3g and patch for vold.

I posted this in Quarx dev thread many times: the latest Quarx build which correctly handles NTFS cards is his 11/17 one (that's the one I'm running since then). With all subsequent builds (have not tried his 03/26 build yet), process.android.media is stopped whenever a media file is to be played. Nevertheless, Total Commander (also other file browsers too) is able to access the card just fine. All those builds, in theory, were able to handle NTFS cards. But I recall seeing in the logs a media process returning -1 as volume ID. So, something very specific to media handling has changed since his 11/18 build. Thanks will try it later.

I'm not expecting USB-OTG to work on the Defy Big bonus if it did, though
Thanks! The only thing left, which I always missed in your ROMs, is SIP calling support, embedded in the phone dialer, Any way for you to implement it?Compiled new kernel with ntfs+fuse support. I need only a patched vold binary for Gingerbread.

Thanks a lot! Just to be sure: just installing this application the usual way will make your v5 ROM handle SIP calls, i.e. new fields will show up in the dialer settings for me fill in my SIP accounts? If so, I'm a happy man!SIP:
read this and attached you found the MS2Ginger modded framework-res.apk
Check 4.0 folder.very nice combination of kernel (2nd boot) and rom!!! The Green SOC camera fully works, but the flash and camera are not synchronized. I believe flash should be delayed a little bit more to work as intended. Also, could you make the removed manila applications available as a separate zip? thank you for your work.![]()
Thanks Walter!Check 4.0 folder.
you can change it in build.propThanks Walter!
I also was looking for that.
Installed > work perfect and now I have sms delivery/read report option
P.S.Just report:
I have also tried out and FULL BLUR zip from Auris for MS2G4.0 It installs OK and connects to the Moto Blur Services BUT in About the phone menu shows MS2G 4.0 after that BUT with your new kernel
There is no way you can do it. Kernel will work only with stock ROM. You must built new kernel for CM7. If you want to try to install cm7 with custom ms2ginger kernel you must modify 2ndboot in bootmenu and copy all files from 2ndboot folder. Also: how can i install the kernel only in my CM7.2 ??
I copied the zImage in the folder you said in my Fuzz CM7.2 version, rebooted but no change....still the original kernel....
