If you have got RED Lens you do not need it.

Do not need to rename it. Just push it to and give it right permitions. The System will renamed itself.

Hello，Walter，I give some report of this rom.first,when I press power,vol+,vol-(same time),It is reboot...not “new reboot option form cm7.2”
and,when I finsh flash and boot defy,at Blurhome has a "?",when I press it ,it ask me I don't install the app.what's the matter???:crying:

No FC, No lags. Stays on Stand by (as long as you need) and No FC. No green strips.

Just to report that after 1 day news (and news widget), and socialfeed (widget also) don't get updated. If I go to news apk and try to add a source it always gives me error and to try again. I tried full wipe but still the same, for 1 day it works, the other day it stops syncing. Yahoo mail as a saw on the other hand syncs good. And sometimes I got reboots while the phone is charging. Good job through.

02. Red LED glowing <|> Red LED stop
03. battery remove and replace is the only way to start up again.

News for dualboot MS2Ginger5.0 and CM10.1.

How it works.

1st step create 3 primary partition on your sdcard 1x fat32 1x ext3 1x ext4 (Partition Wizard 7).

2nd step install quarxs TWRP as 2nd-system.
Set default boot to "2nd-system" first
Install 2nd-system-TWRP.zip via stable/custom recovery. (CWM)

3rd step reboot to TWRP via 2nd-system and install "modded" cm-10.1-20130415-NIGHTLY-mb526-sdcard-gapps.zip

4rd step reboot to stable/custom recovery (CWM) of MS2Ginger and flash 2nd-system-boot-cm10.1.zip
(quarx 2nd-boot folder with modded ramdisk - remount data and system to sdcard)

5th step you can switch between 2nd-boot = MS2Ginger and 2nd-system CM10.1 in bootmenu default boot.


I will upload files to skydrive. (CM10.1 for 2nd-system has gapps included)

Flashing mods Doesn't work

Hi guys i flashed this rom(uploaded 23-04-2013) 4 times with mods selected. The problem that i face is that after flashing and rebooting, my phone gets bricked(i can't even enter the cwm recovery) and to recover my phone i have to flash the sbf. This has happened 4 times now. Just wanted to know am i the only 1 facing this problem??Pls see i have flashed this rom on my stock 2.3.6 rom and i have a defy+ having BL6..

Did you use TWRP? Did you wiped with motorola recovery?

I have 8 and 32 GB SD card. At the moment I use 8 GB and if OK I could share it 4 by 4 GB for the two system. So by how much to allocate 4 gb between the 3 partitions?
Will use CM10.1 mainly for new apps check ups and Google Now.

Fat32 (system) - 512MB
Ext3 (Data) - 2048MB max.
Etx4 (?) - ... MB ? > Should this be the rest of the card?
