Well, don't you think it's better to have a script controling CPU settings then applications?
An app can crash, takes RAM etc. With a script it's baked in so to say...

I've also tested the ROM extensively with the default values, and I had no problems.
Undervolting causes no performance drops. Do a bench test.

The ROM is fast and responsive at 770MHz. But if you want to clock it higher, or even overclock it, you can.
I wrote how in the OP. You can do it with sys tuner which is included in the ROM.

After all this is primarily an every day ROM. But it can be used as a gaming ROM if clocked higher.
And you can easily remove the script from init.d :)
Nope dude...really the screen flashes in between...for eg.. when pressing the power button to reboot and stuff...dunno why...otherwise the rom is super duper cool...keep up the good work:)

I am not a user of this rom, I only used his undervolt script, cpu_config and all I can say is that I didn't notice any decrease in performance.

I want to try on my lww, this rom seems amazing, but comes with alot of bloatware, i think you must let it must stock possible, but sure, with all your mods (great)

the lww key is working?
Bloatware? What the.... LoL? All those apps listed in OP are optional! It says right on the side ->optional -.-

My goal is to make a light, fast stable and battery efficient ROM.
It's based on stock and no major modifications have been made.
As a matter of fact it's stripped of most apps to be as light as possible :D
Just read the OP and try it for a day or two. Then tell me what you think! ;)

I really don't know about LWW since I don't have that device nor anyone I know.
Someone with an LWW device should test the ROM, and report back to me. I can't fix something if I don't know it's broken.

Nice ROM. Unfortunately autofocus doesn´t work for scanning barcodes. Is there a fix for that?
Yep.... I've just tested it and it doesn't autofocus o_O
While camera and camera apps work OK... Really strange issue.
At the moment I don't know how to fix it, but I'll look into it.
thanX for the feedback though!

I flashed new libs on stock rom, and they make focusing problem, while i don't see what are the improvements.

I reverted back to old camera libs (from 69 firmware), everything is fine again.

When are you planning to update this amazing ROM? Also, wich kernel do you reccomend me for battery life?
I did plan to make a small update fo now...
To restore old cam libs cuz of the autofocus error in barcode scanner apps, include zeppelinrox's -=Maximum Overdrive=- and time killer killer, and to make some small changes to init.d tweaks.

I could use some input though :)
Do you have any ideas on what to add to this ROM?

theme it like this? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1616813 :silly:
continue to have clean interference, continue to use clean tweaks (stability), possibility of getting more ram?, less app included (include a package on what to install i.e gmail, gtalk etc... and what to remove i.e. calculator? (i like to use my own calculator from playstore.)

and the biggest thing? what are the chance of having this based on CM7.2? :cyclops:

also:
acid app (music thing)
also please make the following optional rather than default:
-System Tuner (best system tuner around)
-Easy Browser (real fast browser)
-MX Player (video)
-QuickPic (picture gallery)
-Alarm Clock Plus (alarm app with more options)

hmmm maybe look at some improvement sandy and other have included (tweaks) and utilize them on this rom is possible (/w permission ofc)

food for thought :D

Edit:
also just saw this....

As for CM based ROM, that is a possibility. I'll definitely think/ try that!

Regarding the themeing, why don't you just port beauty sense and flash X-PLODE -=Reloaded=-? That way you'll have fairly similar speed like X-MoD.
I'll add a HTC theme in the next release of X-MoD though :)

About making some apps optional...
I added these apps to enhance user experience. e.g Easy Browser, it's way faster then any browser I've tried. System Tuner is needed to make CPU, memory, etc. corrections.
Also give me a better alternative for MX Player?

ThanX for feedback ;)

1) CM: Yup i do hear about CM being more stable than stock. Also i think you could tweak it more than stock?
2) HT Theme, maybe you could make a ported version? I would if i only knew how
If you are able to port it, im very sure ICS + GB + JB people would love to use it on there phone :p
Yup sounds good, make it unique, your rom from others and port it into X-Mod
3) CPU management = frillsCPU control or something? Its a free alternative that alot of people use :)
I personally like everything that is completely free (no upgradable option :p)
4) Well what would happen if you gave people choices? e.g. what browser or whether they even want a browser (they may have there own personal favourite). Choice = more freedom to customize the rom further personally
5) VLC player? it's on beta and still being worked on at the moment but sooner or later it will start working perfect.

All this may increase the size so you could split the rom into parts? (if its too big?) I rather have a big rom which i can fully customize than a small rom i can't do much on :p

System Tuner in X-MoD is free. There's also pro version which is paid.
I think Sys tuner is better then other apps because it's a all in one tool. With it you can configure CPU, minfree, startups, voltage, etc.
Also this ROM uses an optional script to control governor, min/max freq.

I could make ALL apps optional, yes. I have unlimited traffic, so it's not a problem to upload. But I think it would be a problem for some ppl, cuz the size would be well over 200MB. But I'll think about making some more options....

I already thought about VLC (I use it on my PC). But it's still unstable and it force closes sometimes...
As soon as it's ready for everyday use, I'll add it ofc.

If I do a CM version, I'll make it as light as possible. All apps would be optional. I think it's the spirit of CM, to be light and fast.
