Issue: Wifi simply will not stay off. Turn it off and it turns itself back on after a couple minutes. Turns on when trying to run network speed tests.
Attempts to fix issue: Hard reset: didn't work, full wipe and reinstall: didn't work

Rearranged the order in which things are installed and the wifi issue is gone but another one has popped up. I'm going to call it the witchcraft that is development and code at this point. Sometimes a bit of code works fine and sometimes it decides to take a nap. Either way, thanks again for the ROM and per usual, if I find anything it's yours.
Coming back to my photon after a few months on my Note II just because my Note II is getting repaired. The Settings -> System -> Update screen is blank and I can't figure out how to update my profile to activate data on my Photon again. Does anyone know how to activate a phone w/ this ROM on Sprint? No problems before, just have problems now when activating the device again. Couldn't find any active links for a mostly stock blur ROM but would prefer not to have to flash/restore if there is anyway to do it with peetr_'s ROM.
im using this phone outside the US, my question is: will i be able to use it on my gsm carier without flashing the radio? also, what's the easiest way to install a recovery? im on 2.3.5 stock and already rooted.
EDIT: well, ive used the Atrix's bootsrap and it worked perfectly, flashed latest v20 of this ROM, it boots but when i dial that 4636 top change the mode to gsm only, under prefered networks it says "unknown", also on about phone it says "baseband version unknown" and i dont get any gsm signal obviously..
any ideas on how to fix this?

First of all check your IMEI.
This rom is based on electrify. If your phone is photon you should flash radio and corresponding libs. Read OP carefully

Does Root Explorer not work on this rom? I've installed 5 different versions and they all crash every time I launch them.
I'm having to try Root Explorer because ES File Explorer is not giving me the option to change file permissions, like it did on my last rom.
nm, the 6th version finally worked. I did have to use the mount /system app to make any changes, Root Explorer wouldn't do jack with permissions.

Ok, so how is this supposed to work? I have the new camera working, but when I click on a pic to view it, I get "Media Gallery not installed". This happens regardless of which storage location is selected (internal or SD). Am I supposed to install something else?
I Am using Root Explorer & Rom Toolbox Pro. Both working fine. Allowing me to change file permissions
This is a 30 step volume control mode for hybrid rom. Replace attached framework.jar in system/framework folder using root explorer and set rw-r-r permission and reboot. If any music player show fc uninstall it and then install. Dont forget to back up your framework.jar before replacing

I have a Sprint Photon 4G that I unlocked. I was using CM10.1 on it, but wanted to have functional camera and video camera. I downloaded V20 of this ROM and installed it from Recovery, but now my phone doesn't boot up anymore. It is stuck at the Motorola logo, but I do hear the boot sound and there is an animation that I haven't seen (looks like ripples on a pond) and so I think the installation was partly successful.
What's this I hear about needing to flash a radio and such? What do I need to do to have a working phone again?

Try doing a factory reset, clearing delvic & cache & system in CWM or TWRP recovery. Then flash the ROM twice and and other flashes you may need. First boot can take a long time as it's building the cache and delvik cache. That should get you up and going.

Some problems
Well i got my photon 4g two days ago and i was inmediatly bummed because it was a locked one, i was going to install cm or something like that but anyways i install one of the deblured roms first and it was awfull it was really slow and unstable and looking around i found this one so i installed it and it is great much more faster and stable but it began to reset the phone at random times so i flashed the libmoto ril and now it does not reset but i have problems with beautiful widgets, i cant put any widget because it apears as a ghost widget and i cant edit the clock widget on widget locker lockscreen because it crashes and if i flash something else the wifi wont work those are the problems i have found so far, its a great rom and those are just minor problems but i would like to see if they can get fixed, anyways thanks for the rom

This is my modified SystemUI.apk, meant to have the correct H/3G indicator, like any European phone.
Just keep a copy of the original handy and overwrite the file with the one attached below. (then systemUI will FC, so just reboot the phone and you are done.

86This is Electrify rom, completely deblured, except phone and hdmi features, with added cm7 and other apps and features,
to minimize phone and hdmi issues and maximise usability of the hardware, using lightweight software,
without needs to sync anything, like Blur. Google sync is enough and there are plenty of apps in Google play.
And that all in many languages, which are included in AOSP, but someone took them out.
But still, it's not perfect and never will be.
Made on my own unlocked GSM Photon, but works well on CDMA (Sprint) and Electrify (US Cellular) too.
Locked version also available. But still no 4g!

Do not forget to calibrate the battery - it means - install, boot, (maybe reboot), charge 100%, wipe battery stats and /data/battd folder, discharge to 0% without any reboot (but you can use it ofcourse), plug your charger while holding power button to bypass charge only mode, do not unplug your charger or do not reboot, until it is 100% and use it anyhow you like...
Then you can complain about battery. It means, not sooner than 2 days after installation.
This calibration is not needed because of battery (it is lithium battery), but because of not very good Moto power statistics management. Battery can be charged anytime you like, but the phone can show only estimated battery values, based on charging and discharging.
You can use this Battery Fix app for wiping.
