I'm on a locked bootloader as well (Telus in Canada) I'm also getting stuck at the Sony Ericsson screen. Have cleared and cleaned everything, formatted system folder, removed the factory setting etc. Still no joy.

My suggestion is to flash complete stock rom .42 (I mean ftf file) root the phone using zergrush exploit And install cwm with SEextreme tweak installer, factory reset, wipe dalvik, format system and then flash the Rom, hope it helps

This ROM formats /system during install, so you loose CWM since it doesn't have CWM in it.
I attached a flashable zip containing CWM for locked bl in my previous post.
But first you have to remove format("MTD", "system"); in updater script.

Because this, locked bootloader CWM f**** up the system partition if you format it from updater-script. So you need to format it from CWM mount&storage

But you can easily install cwm with xparts from google play.. I suggested using extreme tweak installer because it's what worked for me..
