No more updates... richardtrip left the desire scene a long time ago... I would suggest a nice cm7 rom...
U do have the option to flash an ICS 4.0 rom or jellybean 4.1 ROM, but they really aren't made for the desire...

I was using that for a good while on my desire, before I moved on..

There is a good community there who will be able to help you..
I have heard ppl say that sandvolds ICS rom is one of the best there...

Give it a try

Edit: before installing, ask in there if the play store boot loop is still affecting the rom... not a big deal, easy to fix, but could put u off if u get it...

I'm on a CM7 euroskank kang at the moment and I am considering a new rom. Is this rom still a viable option or are there better choices for power users?
I need good undervolting, battery life, speediness of operation, stability and some script to move all things to SD, so I have been wondering whether to stay with kangs, move on to ICS/JB roms like Evervolv, which is getting a lot of good press, or to this Ginger Villan. The thing that appeals to me in that one is that I would not have to update it any more.

Best rom for Desire Bravo for all times imho (and i have tryed most of them)!
Now i found very decent substitute - paranoid android 4.2.2
Compared to GV has same battery consumption and speed, and even better.

Salute for Ginger Villain for desire!

just had a look there, the AU version is the same but changed some APN's to work with telstra mobile, the rom is the same tho. ah well 2 working is better than one.

Ah right fair enough then, i take back my comment from earlier. But yeah, its better to have two good working links now, keeping these old but amazing roms alive! :victory:
