Use boeflla kernels. They are stable and work good for me.

Tried with boeffla as well. The ui was freezing every 3 seconds (most probably due to boeffla app being absent). Gave up in the end.

Sorry to hear. I made a switch to Blekota s5 Rom v9 its fast and smooth with boeffella Rom or arters rom. You should try that. The developer is always updating as well.

Very very very irritating and laggy... My phone doesn't move at all. OMG.. What have i done...?? Archidroid was silky smooth... Great work porting s5 to s3. I know it's hard to build a ROM but i suggest you to make it better, so we can enjoy the s5 features on our beloved s3. ( I really dont like AOSP Roms. Thats why i am trying out every sammy ROM available. But after a few days, the phone goes laggy.. Cant even open dialer for a minute. Anyway, Archidroid is the best option i got now. )

No,you can't charge your phone when is powered off with this rom.You always need Boeffla or Arter Kernel.Look in th OP You will find Installation Guide
