The standard ROM version has a new sleep function that turns off the watch display if it hasn't moved for 30 minutes. This is driving me nuts as I always put my watch next to my monitor while I'm working so I have to keep waking it up or I miss notifications.

Is this "feature" in this ROM and if so, is there any way to turn it off or extend the timeout ?

Thanks

@okibi

i've repacked the boot img with kernel tool and change the following lines (ramdisk/default.prop):

ro.secure=0
ro.adb.secure=0

boot.img is now resized to ~6,3mb :confused: can i flash this?

Quick question - how do I update from 2.0 to 2.1? No OTA?

Dirty flash?

Nevermind, ensured ADB Debugging was on and re-ran install script. Prefer the updated vibration setting! :)

A New Android wear user here, im flashing gohma 2.1 for the need of strong vibrations :) will report back

Just got my watch today, debating on installing this rom. Would love to hear your experience.

Edit:

Just installed the ROM, after letting it boot up seems to run very smooth. About to start exploring it, but no issues with the rom or installation process other than getting the driver installed and device online, but thats not specific to this rom.

    Just a heads up, Gohma is not dead. I'm just working on something bigger and better! :)
    14
    Just a quick update, Gohma ROM has not been abandoned. I've just been going through physical therapy lately from some issues I've had going on. I plan on updating the ROM very soon!

    To disable OTA services:

    adb shell su -c pm disable com.google.android.gms/.update.SystemUpdateService
    adb shell su -c pm disable com.google.android.gms/.update.SystemUpdateService$ActiveReceiver
    adb shell su -c pm disable com.google.android.gms/.update.SystemUpdateService$Receiver
    adb shell su -c pm disable com.google.android.gms/.update.SystemUpdateService$SecretCodeReceiver
    adb shell su -c pm disable com.google.android.gsf/.update.SystemUpdateActivity
    adb shell su -c pm disable com.google.android.gsf/.update.SystemUpdatePanoActivity
    adb shell su -c pm disable com.google.android.gsf/.update.SystemUpdateService
    adb shell su -c pm disable com.google.android.gsf/.update.SystemUpdateService$Receiver
    adb shell su -c pm disable com.google.android.gsf/.update.SystemUpdateService$SecretCodeReceiver

    then delete /cache/update.zip

    Reboot and the notification shouldn't come back, hopefully.

    But seriously, where's Gohma 3.0?
    I've just bought my G(angsta) Watch and I'd love to flash a custom rom. However, I've already updated to 5.0.2 and I even don't know if this will work for me. Even if it would, I want a new version :D
    Seriously, ETA asking is not cool. Have you read the thread?
