Any time im using the microSD card (TiBu and moving files) the phone intermittently says "SD card removed unexpectedly" and stops working. Usually, soon after it starts working again. wierd. Just flashed the rom, no other mods or kernels.

Will this ROM work on a stock kernel? If so try the stock. Or try Chronic kernel.

I have them. PM me your email. I made a backup of the original of both email and exchange before I patched them to bypass security requirements.

Without immediately flashing the faux kernel after the flashing the rom goes into a immediate boot loop
made some minor progress installing...
md5 checked out just fine...
restored, booted into twrp, made full backup to ext SD card, factory reset, wiped dav/cache/system/data, installed ROM, cleared dav/cache, reboot.
hung on first boot, battery pull it booted into stock samsung screen then setup, but when exiting setup, it reboots, and i cant get anywhere else with it. the INSTANT i exit setup, it reboots and hangs at that god damned custom/padlock screen.
Stock att rom/kernel, correct baseband, and i havent been able to flash a rom that remains stable, NO MATTER WHAT. i may ODIN this back to stock and return it.

Did you wipe dalvik and cache? If you're still unable to boot wipe data and start from scratch. Someone else posted that they were able to get rid of the camera firmware message by just wiping dalvik and cache with fauxs kernel.

why would ROM fail RIGHT AFTER samsung setup screen? md5 checks out, everything SHOULD work.

The firmwares as well as stock kernels are located for all Canadian Carriers in the OP.
I'm not sure what you tried so it's harder to figure. I've booted this rom fine with the included stock kernel and fauxs. When in doubt wipe! Also for those reporting that the rom is hanging, are you sure? Do you see the samsung logo pulsing? If so it's probably just building the dalvik which took about 5 minutes the first time I flashed this rom.
I was looking for a TWRP flashable stock kernel but thank you.
Regardless for me it was a faux kernel issue for the camera firmware. Adam kernel fixed it.
Yeah I'm going to be flashing Adam kernel when I get home. So you wiped, flashed ROM, flashed Adam Kernel and then reboot, good to go? Does wifi work and how about the LTE icon?
Figured it out. Thanks for the help. Solution is above your post. It wouldn't go to the samsung logo. It would reboot at the samsung galaxy s4 screen.

Yes that is what i ended up doing. Wifi works. No lte icons. I will try working on the systemui tonight and see if i can get it working and send it to u
The Adam Kernel link you're referring to is an ODIN flash? Is that the right one or is there a CWM version?

The video calling option in the contacts and Nottach not working is driving me crazy. Great ROM so far
