No should not be fine if you flash this rom if you're using a older firmware. So the answer is. WiFi only works of you already have the latest firmware on your phone or of you flash a custom kernel.

I see samsung is doing the same thing across carriers interesting

Yes and your WiFi will be fine than. But i recommend KT kernel. V16 lags for me and many others.

i believe ktoonsez has his recommended settings. tho, some devices act differently to certain settings !

Aosp browser doesnt sync my gmail bookmarks?
How do we activate Lte without messing around with modems or do we need to?

I only have wcdma/gsm and those 2 seperately.

thanks for the feedback!. Aosp browser should sync bookmarks.. not sure about lte and basebands for the i9505, check to see if apn settings r correct for your carrier :good:

My bad..... didnt have browser sync checked:silly:
My network doesnt provide lte yet but I just assumed it would be partnof the data options (it is now as I changed the values of the lteon file lol)

glad u sorted it out!!!.. as far as lte.. as long as ur carrier apn info is correct, when they switch the switch for lte u will be all ready to go! and thanks man for the feedback!! :good:

For wifi - another kernel (Ausdim #14 for me or Abyss kernel)
Lte - if its not working then an lte modem (flash through odin but with caution)
Try using root explorer to change the lteon file values first to see if that works.

data>property>persist.radio.lteon>open in text editor>change the text from false to true>save and exit>reboot.

Once booted go into settings>more networks>mobile network settings>network mode and change wcdma/gsm to lte/wcdma/gsm

let me know if that works so users dont have to try flashing modems or if its required.
