Is it even possible to go back from NJ4 to NB1? if yes, is there a guide. the one listed here seem to say its possible but not sure if details it out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2616221

Also will I still need Safestarp with NB1 if yes, then why not stay with FNJ4.
It's 100% possible. I've done it myself. I took the OTA by accident and just Odined back to NB1. Why do you guys call it FNJ4? I've got an idea of why you call it that, but I'm not sure...

Baseband version ends in FNB1 or FNJ4.. so NB1 or NJ4 to be precise. NJ4 being the latest from AT&T.
You didn't answer my question on safestrap. NB1 will also need safestrap recovery like NJ4, so what's the benefit of downgrading to NB1 before I install the GF v9?

Not what I thought, lol. NB1 runs better for me. Everything runs perfectly. I might go to NJ4, and flash Pure Nexus with the SELinux Fix so I can have the same base as the rom. Idk what good it'll do though. So, I see where you're coming from. This rom doesn't work well with 4.4.4 (I think). NJ4 has a good amount of problems with roms so I just don't touch it.

I have not been able to make the last version of this rom (V9) to work on my S4.
I'm on MK2 and I install the rom then install the MLD modules and the flas SU but can not get WIFi to work. All this using safetrap.
Can any one help me?

I don't know if it matters but I'm using Safetrap 3.72 not 3.75.
I understand that everything runs well except for wifi after flashing the rom as I've done before with previous versions.

I have been using this ROM for a while. This is the perfect ROM. I'm just here to download the new version, my phone was starting to get laggy because of all the apps I downloaded in the past so I'm just refreshing. Absolutely love this ROM, this is my #1 go-to ROM! :good::good::good::good::good:

MK2 is JB 4.3 You need to be running NB1 to get this rom 100% working. Its just cause this rom is based on 4.4.2 and you're trying to run it off of 4.3 It just won't work properly.

I most definitely did read the 4th post and follow the instructions. I was originally on safestrap recovery and now it does not show up. I still seem to be rooted but have no wifi.

Thank you. Also what if I no longer see safestrap recovery? I don't know how but it doesn't appear anymore when I reboot and when I manually boot into recovery it looks like stock recovery.

You may be in a place you have to return to stock, use Towelroot for root, install SS and load this ROM. I used to uninstall SS after the install because I wanted my phone to boot as fast as possible. I found out if I got in trouble, I had no way to recover from it so not it is always installed.

Have you tried to reinstall safestrap recovery?

No I have not, what would be the best method for where I"m at right now?

Most of this came back to me now. Flashing stock rom back with odin, flash the NC1 kernel, Install safestrap and towel root, flash OTA update, use safestrap to install new rom. Correct?
