@vache: new version available, thank you. I've noticed the reduced file size, does that mean it is necessary now to install GApps seperately?
Unfortunately, version 0430 does not recognize exFAT formatted sdcard. Tried clean and dirty installation.
Clean flash of the latest build removed my TWRP recovery and after flashing TWRP again it's saying invalid argument failed to mount oem. Flashed 0403 and that works nicely, these last two worked fine 
@vache: Will it be ok to dirty flash the latest rom?

So I went ahead after wiping boot, system, and dalvick cache. Booted OK (like the boot animation). But then "System UI has stopped working". Tried a few times to no avail. Restored Nandroid backup to 0304 release.
I have also tried 2004 again but I lose connection to the mobile Network.

Same happened to me. It's really really sad that the author/dev of this ROM isn't looking into that issue.
I am sad to say I have reverted back to stock. I have tried nearly all the custom ROMs and I do like PureNexus the best.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to progress passed 0304 build so I have ongoing issues.
I bought the Moto Z for the MODS and it is not clear when they will function under Custom ROMS. I have all the MODS and have offered to help debug in past but no takers.
I actually think there are too few developers working on too many ROMS for too many variants. I have tried but feel a lack of engagement.
I will patiently wait until I see some stability to try Custom ROMS for the Moto Z.

Media playback via bluetooth doesn't work, it will "connect (no media)" or get stuck on "connecting".
I tried all ROM versions and it affects all of them
it's a lovely rom and i'd love to use it as my daily driver but this kinda kills it

Installed ResurrectionRemix, have been quite impressed so far, the little quirks experienced with purenexus are gone.

Yeah big problem, all works great except bluetooth never connect and here the ticket are huge for drive with mobile on the hand
Encountered an interesting issue: setting up a second Moto Z with PureNexus/ResurrectionRemix (doesn't make a difference), I faced the problem that wifi cut in and out when both phones were connected to my router. Figured out that both phones had the same mac address, namely 00:03:7F:50:00:01. Resetting the phone to stock solved the issue.
Problem is reproducible on my phones. If I have time I'll experiment throughout the next days whether backing up EFS with stock and restoring it after custom ROM has been installed resolves the issue.

I had a look at your logs, and thanked you for them.
But, getting all Mods working is a pain, and projector and camera one especially. I'm not that active here, that doesn't mean i don't work on it
I didn't give any feedbacks cause i didn't made any progress on this.

Anyway, a new build is available, let me know how it goes.
Not sure about what yoy mean, but Im able to unlock my sim at boot. Did you wipe before flashing ?
