I was about to throw this brick as my old galaxy fit ran better, until I found this rom.
TYSM for the rom! It runs smooth and I found no major problems.

The two problems that I found:

SafetyNet ctsprofile: false (fixed it by changing fingerprint from magiskhide module)
Opening magisk from settings crashes settings. (it can be lived with)

Thank you again man for this awesome rom! :)

is anyone here using kernel manager such as kernel adiutor or smartpack kernel manager? how to make best performance using them to our zoold?

just installed this, looks like the most stable rom for z00t... am i missing a better one? is this the best rom?
aex pie look popular but its unstable, completely unusable with random restarts in 1 to 3 minutes.

is there any downsides of using 7.1.2 instead of 9.0? aaand is there a pie rom as stable as this one? would really like if you guys could make a pie rom

lawnchair feels laggy when i swipe the drawer, pixel launcher is fine but doesn't have any customizations... and i can't hide the lawnchair icons in the drawer, tried disabling lawnchair with adb but everything crashed and becomes unstable if i do that... had to re-enable it.
why disabling a launcher cause problems?

btw my bootloader is still locked but i was able to install this rom, would that cause any issues?

i have used mg712702 roms it isnt stable, sometimes hang,i dont see any the downside ,mg712702 roms make facebook lite image resolution load badly, groovy is quite good, last version 20200610 have phone lag whole after wifi connect to internet .this version 20200729 fixed it.

it's mostly stable and fluid but i have some problems.
omnijaws doesn't work, lawnchair is laggy when i swipe the drawer up and i'm having random system restarts. it's more frequent when i use the lawnchair as my launcher so i switched to nova but still happens rarely... also it can stuck in a boot loop when i turn the phone on or restart it. it takes 2-3 attempts to boot. sometimes crashes right after the boot before i can type my sim pin.

anyone else having similar problems? is lawnchair somehow entegrated in the system? because the system was completely unusable when i disabled it. now it's updated from the playstore, i was wondering if that's the problem? maybe this rom is using something lawnchair removed/modified etc. how can i save a crash loop after the crash?

can someone share the lawnchair apk from this rom? or if it's an unmodified apk can you tell me the version number of the stock app?

Switching from Android 9.0 to 7.1.2

I am currently using AEX ROM with Android 9.0. Will there be any issues if I would flash Groovy Android with Android 7.1.2?

I initially have 3.1.0.0 but I have tried using 3.2.3.0, 3.3.1.0, and 3.4.0.0. The ROM will not even flash when I use 3.4.0.0, it keeps saying that the zip file is corrupted. TWRP 3.2.3.0 and 3.3.1.0 will flash the ROM but will give me that Google Services Framework error right after the boot animation.

Right now, the phone is already functional but I had to revert to stock firmware using back2stock method by @LuK1337. I would have wanted to try and flash Groovy again, but I need a working phone and can not risk going through the same error again.

probably your rom zip is corrupted, have you done md5sum check after download?
i use twrp 3.4.0.0, no problem at all

I tried to download the latest Z00T version of this custom ROM (20201124-Z00T) via sourceforge. Why always fail to download? Has anyone experienced this issue? I'm downloading via IDM. Is there any other source besides sourceforge to download the ROM? Thanks.

It seems like a server problem, even I tried vpn but no success
