Few Issues

Not sure if these are device specific or due to the ROM. These are the issues I have encountered with the Umidigi F1 Play (arm64 a/b). I used the Rom build 11.7 with Gapps as Gapps do not work when flashed (install but don't appear).

• Notification icons are too close/ overlap a bit. Other icons, e.g. wifi/battery have ample spacing
• NFC icon is blank in quick settings, NFC does not work.
• Fingerprint security does not work in apps. It's recognised but doesn't log in.
• Bliss updater fails to connect to server
• Weather says it's disabled under " last update" even when enabled.
• Google assistant voice detection will not turn on

No face option here. Maybe the rom only includes pico gapps. I saw somewhere that face unlock feature is in nano and above version, if so, developers please include nano version of gapps on next release.

My Umidigi F1 has issues flashing gapps.

My Umigi also has issues flashing gapps. With a custom ROM, gapps tend to think the phone is ARM when its ARM64. Also, the ARM variants install but are not visible.

Is anyone having problems with google assistant or voice in general? I don't know why I am not able to use "ok google" option, the setting that enable this feature is grayed out and not selectable

Are you still having this issue? I had it with my Umidigi F1 Play and this method solved it:

1. Uninstall assistant
2. Install/Update Google
3. Set Google to a system privileged app. "Systemize" via Magisk allows you to do this.
4. Remove Google Permissions
5. Disable Google
6. Restart Phone
7. Enable Google
8. Google > Settings > Voice > Voice Match
9. It should ask for microphone permission (and a "do not ask again option") > Allow
10. The next screen should be a Set-up Screen (not the list of togglable options)

Hope this fixes it for you.

P.s. I also had English-US as the second language for Gboard and Google voice typing under Settings > System > Languages & input. Not sure if relevant.

i would say put 100% stock rom ..factory reset rom inside OS ..go to fastboot

using fastboot flash phhussan OREO VAnilla with gapps no su ...reboot system

if boots do factory reset inside rom
using fastboot flash phhussan vanilla PIE gsi with gapps no su ..reboot system

factory reset inside phhussan pie ..reboot fastboot

in fastboot flash gsi
DON'T DISABLE ANY ENCRYPTION OR FLASH TWRP OR GAPPS NOTHING
boot system

if successfully boots go in fastboot
flash twrp
boot recovery
flash gapps and su if needed
reboot system

*some phones have problems with custom recoveries and treble gsi
*some phones have problems with custom recovery-gsi-encryption ..which sometimes prevents booting
*some phones only boot if first flashed phhussan vanilla gsi's and later flashed other treble gsi's on top
*lastly my one phone fails to boot first time but if I just do a factory reset ( normal wipe ) ..AFTER installing new gsi in recovery on first failed boot it boots up ...have you tried ?

How do you flash the rom without TWRP? My device currently lacks it for now. Because I'm the one who's going to have to auto build it.

*but it has to be stock rom, if you didn't unlock bootloader and authorise adb and toggle debug, there are other ways too depending on which phone you have.

so unlock bootloader first

then

fastboot flash system system.img

Current AOSP Bugs:
LED not working
Occasional slowdowns (nothing major and clearing recent apps will fix the problem)
The display will turn off for 0.5 seconds when the phone gets unlocked (only when AOD is not active)
Vibration not working

I have two questions about GSI roms which are new to me:
When there is a bug are they fixed on the GSI System image or do we need to make changes to the other partitions (EG: Vendor)?
Can you help me fix those bugs for this particular device?

This works great on my Ulefone Armor 6E. Now I can have a tough phone and a beautiful ROM.

My only complaint is that the device and model still shows the phh device ID. I've used other GSI's that correctly show the vendor model and name - It would be a nice touch if the Bliss GSI could do the same.

Yes this is an awesome rom that I am using on my Sprint V40. I really love your work, nice and smooth with no hickups so far. Only question is how do I get rid of the Google Search Bar?

I think you can toggle that in the launcher.

So can anyone with the Moto g6 play Jeter or aljeter confirm that this will work and if so what doesn't work?

It works on my Moto G6 Plus but the ROM doesn't recognize the fingerprint sensor.

Bliss Gsi on samsung m30

A very thankx to bliss team , beacuse there is no custom rom for m30 and i tried every gsi.. however Bliss gsi was the only one that boots up
however there are few bugs , it would be great if bliss devs take a look and fix bugs ..

1)Volte Not working
2)stock camera not working , you can use 3rd party Camera
3) Lockcreen not working ,Neither Fingerprint.. It force close when you set lockscreen and then it will go to bootloop
