Does anyone have any advice on how I can go about discovering the cause of an S2 that wont wake up? I'm on one of infected's patched builds and I frequently have difficulty waking the phone up. (it gets there eventually, especially if I repeatedly hold the power button for about a second or so, the shutdown / reboot / airplane mode menu comes up).

ANYWAY. I'm pretty certain it's going to be an application that's causing it, so aside from just freezing things one at a time in Titanium Backup and seeing how I get on, is there a more, i don't know, accurate way of finding out what's doing it?

I kind of have the same. Except it only occurs to me if my battery is fully dead. I recharge it for about 5 to 10 minutes, take the charger out hold the power button and it reboots. If I have the charger in, it will go to a blank black screen, and then suddenly my charger icon appears, and repeat itself.
This also happened when I first got the device and I was running stock
No idea if this is of any help for you though.

Reset clear data, do not restore any apps and test.

Having weird SD card mounting issues on latest build 20131111. If an app is installed in the SD card location, and it updates, it causes the app to "uninstall". The icon still stays, but it doesn't do anything then give a message saying: "This application is not installed.". Also, USB debugging on a pc/laptop is being a hard ass. Rebooting (usually) fixes the problem.

Themes Provider has stopped ERROR. Help!!!

Hi Gang.

I've been using the nightly builds for months now with no issues. I decieded to update my phone to the latest nightly last night, as I've not done it for a while. Before I did, I deleted the previous installer zip file from the cwmupdate folder, to clear some space. So now I cant restore that older woring version.

Anyway...

Since I updated, my phone has constantly got "Unfortunately themes provider has stopped" error. It has rendered my phone unusable, as it's permanently stopping me doing anything. I cant even switch back to the stock theme so see if it's a problem with the custom theme I've been using for weeks with no issues. I wondered if there was a problem with that nightly, so I downloaded, and flashed a couple of earlier one's, but I'm still getting the same error.

Anyone got any ideas how I can get my phone sorted. It's driving me insane not having a working phone now.

Thanks in advance.

Andy.

So as far as I know the nightly fr this rom is now cm11. I havnt seen any new cm10 nightlies. If you did, then cm11 has a different framework and a different gapps. So that update would need to be clean installed, and you would need to find a working kit Kat gapps

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.1 (JB), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

First time installing CyanogenMod 10 to your Galaxy S II, or coming from another ROM:
    - Make sure you're NOT RUNNING A KERNEL WITH THE MMC-SUPERBRICK-BUG. If you're unsure, flash this ClockworkMod-Recovery using Odin/Heimdall.
    - Make sure you're running a proper working ClockworkMod-Recovery
    - Copy GApps and CM10 ZIPs to your internal SDCard
    - Boot into Recovery
    - Flash CM10 zip from internal SDCard
    - Flash GApps zip from internal SDCard
    - DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot)
    - Reboot
    - Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
    - Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended, avoid it if possible!

Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 10:
    - Copy CM10 ZIP to your internal SDCard
    - Boot into Recovery
    - Flash CM10 zip from internal SDCard
    - Reboot

Seems you got korea's attention because of the "flooding" the community is currently doing via opensource.samsung.com. twitter, facebook and so on. They contacted us and we told them again what the community wants to have.

You know that bad press for samsung is our most effective weapon to make things changing.
So if you want to make samsung to continue paying attention, you know what to do...
Fight till you got what you want to have.

    Changes:
    - upstream changes (NO, qualcom changes do not apply on exynos devices -.- omg)
    - kernel completely rebased on update 7 kernel release (repo)
    - led timeout feature ported from i9300
    - slightly reorganized device specific settings

Everything should work like before, didn't face any problems yet.
uv, gpu clock control and some other stuff is currently missing and will be added later if there's time.
    currently everyone is busy.

@codeworx - another set of quality work and great achievements. Thanks for all the hard work.

A lot of users don't realise the actual amount of coding, hacking and testing that goes into developing something like this, and the amount of personal time developers like you invest into these projects. Big thumbs up!

Looking forward to your future work!
