Hey i have found a little bug, sometimes when i want to rename some folder, that folder seems like if it was locked.
And also some apps within those folders are renamed to com.google ... or whatever

Yes absolutely.
I saw this by accident and take my attention. So, I check the location options and it was just like yours.

Then I turn on and off the gps and go back to battery stats, and the drain still there .

Then I restart the phone and like you see in the right of the screen, the drains magically was gone.

I had that problem from time to time with cm10.1 and I think it was just some general problem with the GPS. Like it wouldn't get a lock even if enough satellites where on view and nothing after 20 mins. And it would stay with that wakelock. Who knows, maybe differences in the GPS hardware, some mix of old dirty flashes or just bad luck. Eventually with different nightlies it went away. But I would recommend a wipe to see if that helps it.

Well, I'm from Argentina, and I change the NTP to south-america.pool.nto.org, with 10.1 on last Stable version it works pretty well and fast. I use the GPS often, and this version take`s a lot more time to get a lock, not always, but it does.

Hey guys! I might be updating to 10.2 some time, but the thing that keeps me from doing so is the following issues:
GPS doesn't work in 99% of time
Phone randomly and suddenly reboots itself

Does anybody have those issues, and does it make it not so much of a daily phone?

A strange issue,
Enabling the airplane mode, will disable the SIM toolkit and it will never appear again after you disable the airplane mode or even restart
Only reflashing the cm zip file or updating to a new nightly make it appear again

Anyone confirms that ?

Those are bugs listed on the Wiki page, which is outdated.
Those bugs have been solved for 99.9%.

I don't know anything about driver development but I was wondering why can't the drivers from CM 10.1 stable be used for 10.2 development.

CM10.1 should never have gotten the "stable" release, CM just decided to go ahead and rename a nightly to stable, even when the drivers were not available then either.

10.2 is as "stable" as the 10.1 is.

recovery

Hi all,

I don't have "Reboot into Recovery" option in power menu.
Do I have to turn it on from settings or smwhere ?

I was on Rootbox 4.2 and Doriman 9.43.

Thanks in advance!

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.3 (JB), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

First time installing CyanogenMod 10.2 to your Galaxy S II, or coming from another ROM:
    - Read the official wiki
    - Copy GApps and CM10.2 ZIPs to your internal SDCard
    - Make sure you're NOT RUNNING A KERNEL WITH THE MMC-SUPERBRICK-BUG. If you're unsure, flash this ClockworkMod-Recovery using Odin/Heimdall.

    - Boot into Recovery
    - Flash CM10.2 zip from internal SDCard
    - Flash GApps zip from internal SDCard
    - DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot)
    - Reboot
    - Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
    - Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended, avoid it if possible!

Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 10.2:
    - Copy CM10.2 ZIP to your internal SDCard
    - Boot into Recovery

Without pointing at anyone, leaving an offending download for people to waste time on fixing it's results is downright irresponsible.

some people are saying that it's working, other's say that it's a kernel issue.
at least, some usefull info for us.

i bought a house and have a lot to do.
I'm currently not working on any of my phones. i'm spending the last few minutes left of my freetime to give you new builds every few days.
    so please stfu.
