Did you also wipe the Data partition? In the 'official CM13 thread' this is on the list of requirements while moving from CM 12.1 to CM13.I've downloaded the latest version, CM13. My phone was using CM12.1 before. Since installing it my phone won't boot it just loops the optimising apps. I've tried clearing both caches before installing it. Anyone have any ideas?

Although I knew about it, I more or less forgot it myself since the CM13 updates appeared out of the blue in the auto-update structure. I don't recall loops in the optimize apps, but wiping Data is really a must while upgrading in Android releases (4.4 -> 5 -> 6 )
Most likely the issue is just gapps. Just install the M gapps package and it should boot

CyanogenMod and Cyanogen Inc is not the same thing. CyanogenMod is still a community driven project, and most contributers and device maintainers works on it for free.Stop the 'Don't ask for ETA' - nonsense. Cyanogen is not a bunch of volunteers anymore. They are a multi million dollar company. We NOW have all the right in the world to ask for ETA, especially as we as users are part of the assets cyanogen is monetizing! Why if not because of a user base do you think they can convince corporations to sign USD 80 million deals...

Eventually yes. Right now there's too many annoying issues in 12.1 that I won't sign it off for nightlies yet.
Installing without wiping should probably be ok, but no guarantee as I don't know how different those builds are compared to official CM.Hi all, at first happy new year everybody and specialty to arco & CM Team ! Then thank you to bring our device to the top !
I would like to know one things please, at the moment I'm on CM12 ROM by F4k. If I want to switch with this official build, I need to wipe all or just do an update as usually ?
Thank you in advance for your reply !
Keep your mind and have a great day !
Best regards, Oijkn.
Kernel already has support for BLN.Hey Arco, thank you for the release!
Only one thing - after F4K's unofficial builds (upgraded without full wipe) I noticed that BLN isn't working anymore.
Could you please merge the appropriate code to the kernel? As it's already working in another build, I suppose it shouldn't be very complicated.
Latest TWRP should be fine yes.Hi @arco68 Do we need to use cwm 6.0.5.1 ONLY ??I have TWRP 2.7.1.0. My problem with cwm is it does not backup modem and efs..
Anyway I thank you for cm12.

So when i update the cm12 the clock apk always had problems, so someone gave the idea to use CyanDelta, but when downloads and installs the file, when te phone reboots, the clock apk still doesn't work, how can i fix this?
In CM11 there was a nice feature where one could switch between ring, vibrate and silent in the power menu. Any chance of bringing that back?
