CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KitKat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

Code:
#include
/*
 * Your warranty is now void.
 *
 * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
 * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
 * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
 * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
 * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
 */
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.
Kernel source code Github repo.

Most of Android/CyanogenMod is licensed under the Apache License with other small parts licensed under other open-source licenses. Which means that you may modify and redistribute without asking for permission as long as the proper credits is given and it is not misappropriated as being the official CyanogenMod.

Thanks
- The CyanogenMod team for providing a great ROM. Without all the compatibility work which went into it, this ROM would've been much harder to make

The ROM is beta and works pretty well. There are a few bugs here and there, but the dev is busy killing them :) .
I would like to thank the community for donating enough money for the dev to get an i9195i :D
Also, I wanted to say that if you wanted to be added to the Viber group about this development, PM me with your phone number

@DroidKing18, good job for getting the ball rolling!

May I ask how much you require in order to purchase a GT-I9195I device?
Best of luck!
Thank you! (Although I didn't actually do the porting) :) .. The main dev requires around $200 to buy the phone. So far we haven't raised anything, but I'm hoping we will soon so we can get it bug-free.

Sent from my GT-I9195I using XDA-Developers mobile app

Okay, best of luck!

I believe it may be possible to purchase an unlocked GT-I9195I for a little less than that (e.g. Amazon: $180 new, ~$100 used), but I'm not sure where the main developer is based.

Cheers!

i bought my phone for 130,- EUR from here http://www.amazon.de/gp/offer-listi...LikeNew?ie=UTF8&f_new=true&f_usedLikeNew=true - but i don't know it is possible to send to russia?
Delivery to Russia will also cost money. So the phone will cost about 200 usd here in Russia, i can buy new one here for 200 usd.

We are able to do a language change.
If you "Pull down" the screen at the top, you can see "residuals" from the Dual Sim version still there, on the bottom of the screen.

Indications are that nothing is recognised yet. neither Sim or Internet.

System "Setup Wizard" stops before anything has happened.

Pressing OK leaves the screen blank except for the notification bar with the numbers 1 2 and circular battery indicator at top right go screen.

Be aware that, this issue appears to be caused by the GApps package suggested being installed with the CM11 Zipfile which appears to halt the startup process after the Welcome Screen.

Installing CM11 without GApps is better and CM11 opens well.

What Works, and, what does NOT work yet.

What Works ( as far as I can tell ).

1 Setup to main screen.
2 Bluetooth Scanning for Devices
Pairing with Devices
Sending files to a Paired Device

3 Terminal app
4 Gallery - Photo View and Video playback.
5 Browser app
6 Phone app
7 Message app
8 Apollo app
9 Sound Recorder app

What does NOT work yet :-
1 SIM card recognition and AutoSetup
2 Telephony
3 Camera - cannot connect to camera.
4 Torch

Residuals to remove
Any references to a second SIM Card from :-
Pull down menu
Settings - SIM cards

These are the few bits and pieces I have checked. there may well be other issues but,
once Sim card recognition issue has been sorted out and the Dual Sim references are removed, at least then it will look like our very own CM11.
