When i try to flash it in twrp it says that the rom is for serranovelte....
That's why i can't flash it.....
Serranovelte=serranoveltexx=i9195i= s4 mini plus value edition.

What phone do you have? If "right" one then you are doing smth wrong

What recovery? TWRP? Version? You need latest, 3.4.0.0 or Q-3.3.1.0

Gapps install Error 70

Hi Guys

I know this thread is quite old, but maybe someone still follows it?

I recently stumbled over my old S4 mini VE, and was wondering if would be able to play a bit with it. So I started downloading and installing TWRP, Lineage16 (out of this thread 1st page), and Gapps (directly from https://opengapps.org/).

I've managed to install Lineage and get it running, but I don't get Gapps installed. I booted into TWRP, flashed Lineage, so far, so good. But when I try to flash Gapps (after flashing Lineage, and without rebooting), it gives me the error 70.
I can continue, Lineage boots, everything good so far. But I just can't get Gapps installed.

Any ideas? Your help would be much appreciated.

Edit: I've downloaded Pico gapps for ARM, Android 9.0 (Filename: open_gapps-arm-9.0-pico-20201119.zip)

Best

Which twrp version are you using? Have you tried nano once instead of pico?

I'm using TWRP 3.4.0 (Filename: TWRP-3.4.0-0-serranovelte.tar)
I've started with gapps mini first, after getting Error 70 tried pico. Same result. But can try nano as well (even it's bigger)

means no space enough in the system partition. Flash smaller gapps
Which gapps is smaller than pico?

None.
Did you do wipes before rom flashing? System, data, cash and dalvik? Looks like there are leftovers of previous system.
After clean install there is almost 1 Gb free in the system partition and much more in data what is more than enough for gapps

Yes, wiped System, Data, Cache and Dalvik. Tried it once again right now, error stays. I've attached the gapps install log, but don't find anything helpful in it.

Within TWRP WIPE ALL, next reboot to TWRP again (not booting system!) and finally try to install system and gapps.

It says clearly - not enough space.
And this is strange as it shouldnt be like that.
Try smaller pack
https://bitgapps.github.io/ choose arm android 9
In case of fail - most probably your device is brocken
This smaller package (or at least different package)could now be installed. Looks like the "official" openGapps package was unable to detect the available free space?
But now i have the issue that the phone isn't booting. The boot animation appears, takes a lot of time, then the phone either stucks, or reboots into TWRP...

EDIT: It seems to work now. Wiped again, installed Lineage, installed your "alternative" Gapps. Looks like i'm good.
Thanks a lot for your support.

Could be that last opengapps pack is brocken. It is updated quite often and sometimes it happens.

By the way this rom is old, abandoned and not ideal. There are newer ones and supported
