Gapps must be flash'd directly after ROM, before first system boot. Smallest package, Pico, is recommended. SU can be flash'd at that time or later, but... You need to use the correct SU add-on, call'd addonsu-16.0-arm-signed.zip, available here:

Yeah, that's why I went back and reflashed it, I remembered something like that but too late.

So, this is all still really odd, but I finally got it going. I had to install the stock ROM, which wouldn't fully install so I had to then immediately flash TWRP which got it working. I then was able to reflash the rom and gapps, and off of a TWRP IRC recommendation I used Magisk instead of SuperSU. Everything seems to be working fine now, with the exception of a pretty consistent error of not being about to mount /preload. Doesn't seem to be affecting anything, so I am not going to worry about it.

Thank You for this guide. Do You now or does anyone know, if the device handling feels better when using the swap partition?

Thanks and best regards.
No problem :) . As update I have extended the swap partition with another 256 mb as previous swap was full very quickly. I still have soft reboots with google maps every now and then, but way less frequent, and in general usable enough for me. In general the device is quicker with swap partition on

Ok, after several reflashes (not really related to this ROM per se) I have finally got everything working except for one thing. I can't seem to install an APK from the Files application. Open with and clicking on it just don't do anything, and a previous install this worked fine. The thing that is the killer is that this is for my icon pack. I was able to give root explorer install permission and the icon pack installed, but every time I reboot its reset to the stock icons. They are still visible in my launcher setttings (which is a launcher for older android, but just has some things I can't live without and also worked fine on a previous flash). I don't know if it might be related, but after this flash some of the apps I had purchased weren't showing up as purchased in Play. As a result, I installed the updated version of this launcher (ADW) but the updated version didn't have a lot of the things I like about this version. I finally figured out a way to install my purchased apps by going through my receipts, so I installed the older version. I'm wondering if something might be left over from the newer version that is preventing the icons from "sticking"? Or is it the fact that it was installed via Root Explorer?

This is literally the only thing not working correctly, so hopefully it is understandable how insane it is making me. :) After flashing several times, downloading backups etc, if I can avoid doing it again I certainly would love to.

Hi all, now I am trying make treble version!
Thanks a lot for the new Rom @Danil_e71 and all which were working on it. As I have an exotic i9195i which it has shown before , i have got bootloops with the new Rom.
How to record the bootprocess and make a file out of it to send it here?
Its been a while since I did that!

Logcat should work, doesn't it? Unless it's not enabled during boot..

I have solved it by editing the "mixer_paths.xml" file in: device / system / etc /. I obtained the values from the attached edited .xml file, following several tests until the echo disappears or has been greatly attenuated (see changes in attached .xml file starting with line 456). To replace the original .xml file with the required permissions I made a script (attached) that can be flashed via TWRP.

@christihan, I have this issue as well and want to try your fix adjusting the mixer_paths.xml. However, your updater-script targets the file in /system/etc whereas mine is located in /system/vendor/etc (I'm running Danil's LOS16 w. pico gapps). Do I need to update your updater-script and file location structure accordingly before flashing? Thx
