Nfc not working

Anybody help me? Nfc is not working, I'm on the layest nightly, 20150426, but I'm sure I had this issue in other roms, so I'm not sure this is relates to this rom. Tried android beam on and off, tried flashing a nfcfix.zip I found on other threads (though it was for cyanogenmod 10), but no luck. No apps recognizes any of my nfc cards (they are working 100%, otherwise I'd be fired at work ;) ). Thanks in advance.

nfs working on stock rom? if yes is ROM related...if no hardware....

launcher(trebuchet) is quite "crashy"...when picking some widgets...and when changing some settings like transition animation....it crashes but restarts and on 2nd time changing that same setting works.

I've a few little ideas to improvement a ROM:
- default charge rate is 500-700mAh (checked Ampere app) and charging is really slowly. I need to install Agni kernel to change it, also CM11 isn't compatible with olders, more stable Agni kernels (for example. 2.9.1)
- ability to show battery percentage to the left of battery icon not inside the circle (cause the text is really small) and show while charging (if we have battery icon, we don't see percentage inside)
- there is ability to show "fast settings" when we move finger on the right/left side or disable it (then we will see always notification bar, in most cases empty). It would be great if there will be ability to show always settings bar if there aren't any notifications.
- ability to show entire date between hour and battery, e.g. Mon 16.08 15:40
- ability to set only "national roaming" - there are providers that use different transmitters so with disabled roaming the reception is worse, but when enabled there is a ability to connect via itnernational roaming, when someone live near borders
- Apollo is too invasive. After removing it via Titanum Backup I've remains and sometimes it makes crashes (system still detects Apollo installed).

It would be great if you could implement it :)

Cm11 is getting old man, get an update to a lollipop rom like cm12.1 or Slim with Gravity Box xposed module and you will have any feature you want.

@aaz03
I'd like to go to lollipop, however MMS doesn't work at any build and it prevents me from installing 5.x. I had also few problems with performance 5.x & Agni.
KitKat is the most stable for me. Cm11 isn't too old. As I see it's still receiving updates - http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=i9305

I hear a lot about mms problem on lollipop but I never had this problem...
For performance, give a try to SlimLP with his stock kernel you won't be disappointed ;)

Most of time I used SlimKat. I liked it however it's abandoned and has few bugs thar irritated me so every 3 months I needed to reinstall it.
SlimLP i never used. I had problems with installation (like RR). I changed my recovery to PhilZ CWM and I was able to install finally RR, but SlimLP still not.

Working MMS is must-have for me. I'm very frustrated that no one can fix it :/

The installation problems are now all fixed for my SlimLP and as far as i know all the bugs are fixed now with my latest build.
Check out i'm pretty sure you'll love it , you just have to flash the recovery on first page of the thread before with flashify or any other recovery supporting .img flashing.

I tried your latest build yesterday (I downloaded 20150815-1516 build). Log-message was: unmount of /system failed ; no such volume, result 0.2
I had the same with CM 12 and RR. I installed older version of TWRP (2.8.7.0 -> 2.8.5.0) and I was able to install CM ( RR still not). Then I installed PhilZ 6.48.1 CWM Recovery and I was able to install RR, SlimLP still not :/

Every time I wipe data, cache, system. Tried to back to stock via Kies/Odin. Nothing worked.

But still - I'm fine after that lollipops has nice improvements, but still MMS doesn't work although I need it. I used it so often on KK, like GPS for navigation and this is must-have-working-in-ROM... I never used videocall and this is unecessary (never check if this works on any rom, lol) but those goddamn MMS...

If you are able to fix it in the future, I'll be one of the first people, who will install your latest build with that fix. I belive SlimLP is great system, SlimKat was my favourite KK ROM (although bugged). However for now... I prefer to stay on KK :S

That's why i told you to flash the recovery alpha17 provided in first page of the thread: my rom uses a F2FS formatted /system by default for more reactivity, unfortunately there is only one full F2FS compatible recovery: the alpha17 from SdtBarbarossa. all the other recoveries can't mount/unmount f2fs partitions, that's why you had this log

You manage to get into recovery mode ? If so , you can make a wipe data and flash the rom again. Or try with the original rom samsung !

Yeah, I did manage to get into recovery, but still I flashed stock and then flashed custom recovery and I'm trying again. It's a shame if it doesn't work... :/ . I'm using a combination of latest CM11 Rom + cm11 official GAPPS.

Also how long do I have to wait for first boot? It's taking longer than 5 min :(

CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    Maintainers!

    Hi Guys,

As many of you have noted, I've been absent for ages. Sorry about that!

I thought I should let you know that I'll be upgrading my device and so my i9305 will be left in a drawer from now on. I will not be developing any future ROMS for this device.

It has been fun and I hope you have enjoyed it. I really hope someone is able to step up and take over maintenance of the i9305 and bring some Lollipop love to you all!

I've updated the first post to include both TWRP and CWM recovery images in flashable zip file format to make it easier to flash the recovery images
