[ROM][GT-I9506][ks01lte] LineageOS 13.0 OFFICIAL for the Galaxy S4 LTE-A

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6.x (Marshmallow), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.


Instructions
1.Flash TWRP recovery via Odin.
2.Boot to TWRP recovery (Vol UP + Home + Power).
3.Optional: Do nandroid backup
4.Wipe data / Factory Reset
5.Install the ROM (Lineage OS zip).
6.Install the Google Apps (Open GApps).

Yes, I also installed and appears root menu , but titanium backup and other applications did not find root access

Have you tried to allow root to those apps in SuperSU menu?

Good to see you here, mr! I hope that this feature will be resolved in the next nightly. In its changelog, shows a lot of modifications.

the download section the link points to shows only the SU Addon for 14.1. Do you know when / if a version for 13.0 will be released?

Also, will there be an experimental ROM for migrating from CM13 to LineageOS?

I can't answer you,i'm only a user that posted a threat to the official lineage OS 13.

Great to see an official version of LOS for the ks01lte . Is it possible to dirty-flash over CM13 nightly from 2016-12-18 (which was the last AFAIK) or can we get an experimental build which allows a dirty-flash? Will there be an official LOS 14.1, too?

The official build will not install, if you didn't wipe before. So no, you have to clean flash.

I've experienced two bugs so far:

• not able to swipe down the android quick settings tray
• notifications not showing up
• home button not working*

*after clicking the home button it doesn't drag me to the homescreen. I can alter it's functionality in options->buttons menu but just the double click home button option works (e.g. double click to turn screen off) but not the long press option or the single click options as mentioned before

I've found a solution here: http://languor.us/android-marshmallow-cm13-installation-home-button-and-notifications-not-working
but the command unfortunately didn't work in my case (I've deleted cm wizard during initial setup via opengapps aroma). I've just used the command from this post https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70943035&postcount=136 and tada it worked for me

Very smooth so far, no other bugs encountered yet

It's still solk2 afaik. The last commit by him is not that long ago (2 weeks?). No idea about linieageos 14.1.
