No, I mean : when icons are displayed on many screens, the startup screen currently is the "left" one. Is it possible to change that?

What you are describing sounds to me to
actually be the launcher. If you provided a screenshot, that would of cleared that up.
I would guess you have the option in google play to automatically add icons to your home screen turned on, so as you install an app, google play will place it on your "first screen"; ie every app.
A couple of options you have is to edit what is shown on your first screen. You can delete icons (long press and drag to the top), move them to another page (long press and drag). By making the "first screen" (ie the default screen) look like the second screen, you would achieved the same end goal.
