Doesn't look like a graceful disconnect indeed. The network just seems to vanish for whatever reason. If possible look up the logs on the other side as well.
Maybe keep an eye on the signal strength with WiFiAnalyzer. Or try 2.4GHz network instead of 5GHz.

Ok, i give in. Host unreachable, i cant read it anymore. The message on the other side is just device was logged out, with 2,4GHz too. lol. But thank you so much for the commitment. I will wait al little, maybe this issue is away in LOS17.
I don't think this is rom related. Try with new clean install, no gapps.
Think so too, maybe a mix of different reasons, like damaged or not exactly suitable chips, because GPS is very slowly too. This is completely crazy, with 2,4GHz and Powerfader (Powersaving mode) on maximum wifi stays the longest time alive, last tested for more then 4 hours. Whatever
Thank you:good:I was rather thinking about a software problem. You probably have just installed something that's running wild on your phone. Gapps are known to have strong impact on performance and high risk of messing things up severely.
Do a factory reset and don't forget to format /system and re-install the rom without gapps. That should give you a reference system. You can always revert back to your backup.

Has anyone figured out a definitive way to get GPS working? With a fresh install and no gapps, no apps that are trying to access location can get a location. Even tried with the Firefox unifiedNLP. Just one time I briefly saw that maps found my location
Lineage 17 is quite buggy on ks01ltexx, so I will switch back to 16 for a while.
Some of my experiences are (in 7 days):
- System hang for 2 or 3 seconds when pulling down the status bar.
- System hang for ~2 seconds when lowering or raising the volume.
- If you lower or raise the volume YouTube or any other media playback (video, music) will lag and the system will hang for ~3 seconds.
- Some of the apps you opened will disappear in the recent apps menu but when you launch them again from your home menu then they will reappear.
- Android's stock keyboard takes ~2 seconds to pull up for you to start writing, and in the mean time the system will hang.
- Rarely, when you open any app the system will hang (happened rarely).

Are you using magisk/xposed or something similar?
I do experience these lags as well at times but right now it's fine.
What bothers me more is that Firefox is able to circumvent the hosts file on LOS17.1.

How does one open the App drawer from homescreen to access for example File Manager, after installation?

In 'Trebuchet' launcher there should be a 3-dot icon at the bottom. If you did not clean-install LOS16 your installation might be corrupt.
It is strange because I wiped all 5 partitions (Cache, Dalvik, Data, Internal and System).
Then transfered LOS16 and latest picoGapps to Internal (No SD-card). And installed Los16 and picoGapps.
Maybe it got corrupted during the transfer from PC to Phone.
No one else here having this issue?
PS. Which 3-dot icon? Do you mean the Apps button, which was a circle with 6 dots that used to be at the bottom center position of the Home Screen? I have not seen it since Android Oreo (LOS 15).

Yes, you're right, sry. Trebuchet is upswiping-only nowadays. It is Nova Launcher providing that button.
Solved my issue. '
Turns out there never was a problem with wiping or corrupted files.
It was the Trebuchet launcher. Apparently the up-swiping to access the app drawer only worked from the bottom of the screen, which is am major usability problem for me since I am used to swipe from the more comfortable center position on the home screen.
The solution was to install a newer version of Trebuchet from apkmirror. So now I can swipe up from any position. Latest Trebuchet even has this ^ at the bottom center which works like an old-fashioned apps button!
Maybe something for the developer to update in the rom?
And big thank you to the developer for keeping this device alive!
Yes, I use Magisk but not Xposed. I tried Xposed once with this ROM and it almost screwed up the performance especially messed a lot with Telegram and YouTube so I uninstalled it. But still I was getting a lot of lags day after day so I downgraded back to 16.
Also experienced massive problems with the v17, reverted back to v16 and I'm absolutely happy with it. Thanks to the maintainers.
Thanks man!! Seems to be working fine Also does modem make a difference? I noticed emergency calls dont work in Sweden on this modem but if you have a SIM then it works
Edit: Anyone else having problems with VPN firewalls? I cant get any of them working.. Perhaps its the modem? Idk if theres any reason to have this particular modem perhaps I will try with another one
