@pieppieppiep are you using that linked magic LOS20/A13 ROM, or some different I didn't find yet?

Not sure which one is linked but I use the one from @khalvat which performs well but doesn't feature encrytion for the moment by the looks of it.
Guess I will stick to this rom here (18.1) for now as it is not only rock solid but also receives monthly updates thank's to @Borstelchen

I have two problems with the rom.
I started with a clean install, of course.
The first is that the phone is always terribly hot, even when all power saving settings are turned on.
The other problem is quite interesting...when I open the screen,google play starts immediately.
I switched to crdroid 10 there everything is fine,no such errors.

LineageOS 18.1 February build is available now:

And two novelties are included:

1. OTA updates are enabled!
That means: Upcoming monthly updated builds can be installed using the LineageOS Updater app.

2. The builds are signed from now on!
The Trust privacy app will no longer send security alerts due to missing build signature.

And of course the February (Security) patches are included:

Important:
There are two possible ways to install this February build:

1. Using TWRP Recovery, see Downloads in the original post:

2. Using the signed LineageOS Recovery available here:

This 2nd way is recommended if you want to automatically install upcoming monthly updated builds with the LineageOS Updater app. And the LineageOS Recovery can also be updated in the same process.
The installation will fail when using older unsigned LineageOS Recovery versions!

No. Odin cannot handle .img files.

But you can replace TWRP Recovery by using TWRP Recovery itself.
Go to Install, then "Install Image" and select the downloaded LineageOS Recovery .img file from internal storage.
Then you restart the device into the recovery and can use the LineageOS Recovery immediately.

Mam lineageos 15.1-20181007-UNOFFICIAL-ks01ltexx na S4 I9506 LTE, do tego Magisk. Wszystko lata...jak teraz wgrać nową wersje np do 18.1.Mogę bezpośrednio czy muszę przejść na 16.0 potem 17.1 i 18.1 ręcznie ?Jest gdzie jaki poradnik.Dzięki za odpowiedź.Pozdro

First of all thank you very much for making those images, much appreciated!

OTA does not work on my S4, keeps complaining download error. If i copy the url from the updater and paste it in a browser on my phone this url does not work and does not lead to a download.
Wifi works fine (at the moment i don't have a sim card in this phone) but downloading through wifi should be working i guess?
