YouTube work just fine here without any issues.... Even with 1080p Video Clip.Hopefully this time the rom runs smoother on my phone, YouTube skipping frames and phone loosing stability is really annoying (even with a clean install).
If this rom runs stable and fine then I can easily skip the next two phone generations.
Would be a shame if I have to upgrade my phone just because I can't get basic apps like YouTube running smoothly and the phone overall smoothly.

That's right but it lags while loading apps and seems to be not really finished to the end in case of themeing. There are many options in settings where you can't see the corresponding button. Many integrated apps have white text on white title bar so you can't read the text. Power menu isn't translated an the on. Many small bugs but it is nice to see that development isn't stopped for this device. I'm waiting for v9 to give it a try. Hopefully today ?Meanwhile v9 is released using dn7 from 2 days. It is all about new note 7 UX theming with most of the previous bugs fixed.
Stock rom has its samsung kernel, which is made for our phone. On Eclipse you have Agni kernel. You have to tune your settings to find your best configuration. In my experience from about a month ago when using this ROM, PassMark PerformanceTest Mobile showed a considerable increase in performance after going back to the stock ROM. This really helped e.g. in games like Pokemon GO where responsiveness really helps when throwing those balls.
The only problem after going back to the stock ROM is that the game is "incompatible" with my device so that I cannot install it via Google Play anymore, so I would prefer using this ROM again instead if performance can be improved somehow.
Any ideas? Thank you!
which cpu governor and gpu do you suggest?Stock rom has its samsung kernel, which is made for our phone. On Eclipse you have Agni kernel. You have to tune your settings to find your best configuration.
Try adjusting Processor settings and Gpu for better performance in games.

Thanks for replying! I have now tried various performance/gaming profiles in the AGNi Control app, and even increased the max CPU and GPU frequencies... Somehow, I still cannot seem to get the same CPU/GPU performance as when using the stock ROM. Choosing battery-saving profiles did make performance worse as expected, but it does not seem to do much the other way.Try adjusting Processor settings and Gpu for better performance in games.
Try wiping internal partition then get govturner and install after flashing rom. Thanks for replying!
