I came to 10.1.3 on my P3113 (WiFi version) straight from Stock ROM... Loving this ROM son far..
The only concern is that the battery is draining faster than the stock ROM.
I unplugged in the morning and never touched the tablet. 10 hours of being idle when i turn the screen on to check, the battery had gone down to 75% (as opposed to stock ROM which would be down to 92% or 90%)

Any one else getting this issue? Any ideas?

Good morning intelligencexan
You're right, the drain is slightly higher - make sure you compare the ROMs with the same activated options. Two of the biggest "thirsty" components are WLAN on on sleep (default in stock off, as far as I remember) and location service through GPS and/or WLAN/Network. If you don't really need it, deactivate it. Consider also deactivating Wifi during sleep.
Then... running services; you might install the PDroid-patched version and install PDroid Manager from play store that lets you deactivate autostart settings per every single app (eg. most of us don't need Exchange services etc...) - see here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2357514

Hope, I could help you a bit...

Greetz - Chris

PS: you may also consider to install Nightlies of CM 10.2 - adjustable performance settings included

I don't have any draining on battery with the CM10.1.3

Neither do I! In fact I use better Wi-Fi on off with this Rom because I don't need it to be connected to Wi-Fi when screen is off, because if I need notifications I have my s3. Not having Wi-Fi on with screen off bring excellent battery consumption. But I know it depends on everyone's needs to keep Wi-Fi on or not.

What is the most stable version for 10.1.3 ? I have installed 10.1.3 Rc1 few days back and back to stock due to fast battery drain .

1. Make a Nandroid-Backup of your Device. Copy it to your PC.

2. Make a EFS-Backup using Terminal Emulator (download from playstore)
Code:
su
hit enter and accept root.
Code:
busybox dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p1 of=/sdcard/efs.img bs=4096
hit enter and wait a moment for backup proces,
then type
Code:
exit
hit enter and
Code:
exit
again to close.

Copy "efs.img" from your internal storage to your computer and keep it safe there!!!

3. now install latest clockworkmod recovery or philz touch recovery.

4. backup all important data from your device

5. download rom and gapps and store it on internal storage, or better on your micro sd card,

6. boot recovery and do
  • wipe cache partition
  • wipe dalvic cache
  • wipe data factory reset (on philz touch recovery do both)
  • format /system (under "mounts and storage")
  • now install rom
  • install gapps
  • reboot and setup your device

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.2 (JB), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
     *
     * Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
     * cause of male impotence.
     */

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

First time installing CyanogenMod 10.1 to your Galaxy Tab 2, or coming from another ROM:
    - Make sure you're running official ClockworkMod-Recovery
    - Copy GApps and CM10.1 ZIPs to your internal SDCard
    - Boot into Recovery
    - Flash CM10.1 zip from internal SDCard
    - Flash GApps zip from internal SDCard
    - DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET
    - Reboot
    - Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
    - Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended, avoid it if possible!

Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 10.1:
    - Copy CM10.1 ZIP to your internal SDCard
    - Boot into Recovery
    - Flash CM10.1 zip from internal SDCard
    - Reboot

    Upgrading from CyanogenMod 10:

Time for a reality check ??

    Wtf is wrong with you?
I'm doing this in my freetime without getting paid.
So i'm working on it when i want to and as much i want to.
If i don't want to work on it, then i don't. Simple, isn't it?

In response to the recent trend that has been appearing on XDA - especially on this Tab 2 board, perhaps it is time for a reality check and maybe a step back to review. I have been on this board since my original "8125" phone days - flashing windows software, and being part of a great community.

I must admit that I am appalled to see posts with ultimatum's - unrealistic expectations and demands, and as Codeworkx has indicated above - being placed on individuals who do this in their spare time, and choose to share with the rest of us.

I am not sure where this trend comes from, but it is disappointing, and we are in jeopardy of losing some very talented individuals who share their talents and time. We used to say / type thank you - and we meant it. Now, if you are not pressing a thank you button on every post an individual types - you are not thankful. Not sure what the most "thanks" on XDA gets you - but to each his own.....

I have always had a very simple view of XDA and its contributors. If someone creates something for a model I own, I will try it. If I like it - I will say so. I rarely ask for changes, updates, special items to meet my specific needs - because it is not my creation - I am on the receiving end of a shared product. If I do not like it - I will remove it, and flash the next one. I realistically flash all of them - best way to support the creators.

This is probably on the wrong board, not development related and pretty whiny :) So if it gets deleted, or relegated to another board - that's okay.

But seriously folks, take a step back, calm down a little - I see no value in ultimatum's and demands on the creators. Quickest way to get rid of a talented contributor

Besides - if you do not like it - flash back to stock

    All the best

This is just a temporary solution for Google Maps soft reboot issue, in a flashable zip format. libsensorservice.so taken from 20130420 nightly.
