@carl1961 my N3 doesn't turn on at all.... Looks like a hardware problem :'( :( Don't know what to do right now. When I press power button nothing happens :(
Did it happen with safestrap? A USB jig got mine to bootloader. If it's the power button broke, I read somewhere this week how to get it to turn on. I had to fix mine with a old part , ( I wore the button themble, out, that tiny metal circle that's taped and glued to power ribbon).

When I connect to wall charger nothing happens. But I just connected it to my laptop and it reboot? I'm scratching my head here. I was talking to my friend and it just shutdown on me.

Also my battery isn't charging at all? Do you think a dead battery could do this?
Sounds to me like either a bad battery, or more likely a poor battery connection. I'd pull the battery and inspect the pins and the battery pin locators.

Looks like it failed at the start of the system.img.ext4, file size reads correct, comparing it to op. Wish I could help, I know nothing about a mac pc.

After doing some more testing battery is fine. It is either the USB Adapter that came with N3 is bad or the wall outlet is bad.

I hope it's that easy to fix. Mine was a bad button , I ordered a new one (6.00 free shipping, put it in and it did not work, had to put my old one back. I ordered another one today from a more replical place, .

PS EDIT - It seems I only have data on Wifi..? I'm getting texts, emails, etc but once I take it off Wifi my signal goes away? I got a message about my sim card and asked me to reboot and I did, but still no go..?? Do I have to adjust any network settings??

do the 4 separate files then use and select the pit file.

Mine shows up but of course I am on NJ5

It will automatically select when you attach pit file, you select the 4 files and the pit file. That will make your phone factory restored.
But my question is , i am doing same as of u said. but whenever i flash the NCUC2 firmware my imei become null and Baseband also shows unknown. just i am wondering how.
if u flash the MLG modem file from "ALL AT&T N3 Modems - Odin & Recovery Flashable" then i get my IMEI back with Baseband - " N900AUCUCMLG "

I do not understand your issue, all the times I have installed ROM's and firmware on my phones I never even checked my IMEI, so what the reason your having to check your IMEI.
