For a smoother experience, doing a full wipe before installing is highly recommended.

In order to make sure GPS is working when upgrading to this rom from a Froyo rom, leave GPS on in the old rom before flashing. If it's disabled, you might not be able to turn it on again without reflashing Froyo again.

Not the same as here the sensors just plain doesn't work at all. It's a universal problem in Gingerbread as other phones have the same problem as well.

I'll add some screenshots, although shaking the phone to take pictures doesn't work due to the a fore mentioned non-working sensors, so I have to shout in the mic to take them.

Yeah that could be it. I believe the AmonRA some use on the Tattoo originally was made for the Wildfire, so that's why there's a prop mismatch.

I'm not sure either, but as you say, moving the backups to clockworkmod folder might work.

Never had any issues with latest clockworkmod personally. Older versions had some issues with MTD utils, but should be fixed in last version. Besides, it's the default recovery used by CyanogenMod team.

Flashing Google apps will cause a boot loop, as it has not been updated for Gingerbread yet. If you remove the network location apk from the zip file before flash, it should boot ok. There may be other issues with the apps, for example I've noticed Gmail is not behaving good.
