This device is pissing me off.
They did so much stuff for no reason. I can't believe.
Google provides working solutions and they're throwing it away and replacing it with their own hacky stuff which is far away from any standard.
Why? Just to be different? Or because they don't know how to do it properly?
Hold vol up and power till honor logo appears, then release power button and continue holding vol up button till recovery appears.

You do know that it makes zero sense to ask a question like that? The answer is that no one knows.

Why you guys keep asking for next version and stable version?
The man as done more than he can in little time, so please be patient and wait for him to work on it when he have time and will.

I'm pretty sure that they do things like this because they want to make very little modifications to EMUI so that they do not break the cross device compability. The sources they released are for EMUI and not really meant for anything else which is a shame.
Thanks for the new file
Same thing with this one unfortunately - it flashes fine using the fastboot flash recovery command, then a fastboot reboot, then holding power + vol up just continually restarts to the honor logo.
Is anyone else having this issue? Is it possibly just localised to my phone?
Thanks,
Akathur

Judging by their software update speed in general, I'd say it's safe to assume that that is happening. Then of course... Even though they are rather large company it doesn't mean that they know what they are doing or they do things that do not make sense. Wouldn't be the first time...Doesn't make any sense. Every new android version breaks their neck.
They have to make EMUI more compat to android and they'll magically get faster at providing updates.

I am experiencing the same error....after flashing the cwm given on 1st page I can't boot into cwm recovery .....I flashed it using flashify .....changed back to my previous cwm version .6. 5.0 everything normal again....can boot using hardware button and quick boot app....
R u on stock 4.4.2 or updated to B370...?I updated and then worked..Same thing again - it gets to the Honor logo, then restarts and boots once I let go of Vol+.
As mentioned, I can get into it with other versions of CWM, just not the one I need.
Thanks
