Any ways to disable AMR Wideband for now? Can I make Tasker to swith network to 2G when dialing/receiving calls?

Check this:

Actually it could be really easy to do with AutomateIt app. Just create New Rule and place "Call State" as a trigger. Then select trigger's settings to "Active (answered or dialed)" and "All Contact". After that place "Set Mobile Data Action" as a action. Then select action's setting to "Disable Mobile Data". Then just save that rule.

Now your mobile data is disabled when you answer or dial a call. Now you have to make a new rule which enable LTE after call is ended. Place "Call State" as a trigger. Then select trigger's settings to "End call" and "All Contact". Then place "Set Mobile Data Action" as a action and select action's setting to "Enable Mobile Data". Then just save that rule.

Then your mobile data should be disabled when you answer or make a call and enabled when you end call. If it is not working then maybe you have to make third rule that disables mobile data when incoming call arrives. Maybe it is worth a shot.

Ps. It can be better to do with Tasker but my skills aren't that good with Tasker.

Thanks. Indeed, I had switched to ondemand as the performance seems smoother with minimal impact on battery. I had been blaming it on Xposed and Greenify.

Switching back, the problem seems to be gone.

I flashed the newest Rom and I found the Problem. I can not awake the phone after locked it. But when I locked it and awake it at once, it was on.
I did not Switch the Performance. It stays in interactive.

no. I did not change any set. It is all default. Only I changed was I Switch to ART mode.

Don't know if it's related, but ART isn't ready for prime time in 4.4. Still experimental there.
ART becomes the default runtime in Android 5.

One of the issues have seen in the Indian variant (L04), is the 3g data is very inconsistent. I have tried all connection types and none of them work well. The data connectivity goes from good to average to bad to average to good. And this is a cyclic behavior. I am not convinced it is a device issue as i have seen several other posts indicating the same. Looks like internally they have built some intelligence to constantly poll for the best data/battery combination which is why this behavior. Nothing wrong with the SIM card as it works well with my Xperia device. Anything you could help here with from a code/configuration perspective?

What you see is probably not what you get. I had to fake some values because huawei completely ****ed it up. But this doesn't affect the real signal, just the stupid bars.

0222 update on WiFi display... worked... once out of 5 times on LG Smart TV (screen mirroring)... everytime it succeeded in mirroring my wifi connection would cut off for a while...

but this is not conclusive... as this LG TV had problems connecting even with the stock EMUI 3.0, so someone else will also have to verify WiFi display is working

I reflashed the rom again. Then, I switched to the ART mode again. But the problem was gone.
I was confused.
By the way, I suggest to optimize the battery life. I know it is hard to achieve between the battery and the phone performance. I am appreciate for any improvements you have done.

Lowering the resolution to 1280x720 with a tool on the Play Store might help there. Using Interactive and lowering the maximum CPU frequency will help too.
