Dear friends,

I would like to root my g4, I had experienced a soft root with this phone on 2015, it was a very good work, but on android 5.0. Is it possible to make this kind of root another time but on android 6?
I attached my software version.

Hi,
I'm running a h815 with the 07/25 nightly.
I'm experiencing 2 major issues:
- Battery drain and heat issues, in light tasks as web browsing, my phone heats a lot, and the battery drains quickly (even if I am in power saving il batteur profiles)
- WiFi hotspot, i'm unable to activate the wifi hotspot, the button always stays disactivated and shows error next to it

Any ideas on how to fix these problems ?

Hi, I'm still on the build of 2016-09-09 and I'd like to update. Is there a more stable official version? Which one should I get? My priority is on stability and performance. Any suggestion is appreciated.

You can give the latest official 14.1 a try if you like.
I personally would go for aoscp nougat but that's only my personal preference.

Is encryption possible with the current AOSCP-Nougat-Version? (all mobile devices with personal data used in a company must / should be encrypted from May 25)

    The problem is that is not app related problem, but there is a part related to the OS that you are running. CM is a "stock custom ROM" that has to work on several devices. That means that is impossible customize it beyond certain level without talking about a modded CM.
    This is the reason why we talk about aosp codeworkx ROM that could possibly be created just for the specific needs of G4 and fully optimized for our device only.
    This is the only way to try to have stock camera quality on a custom ROM.

    I can write a camera app which has same features as stock cam. And it will work fine on CM but i can't bundle it. But i can provide it as addon download.

    So where's the problem?
