H-ROM G6 PORT NOUGAT v1.0

• Full UX6 ported from lastest G6 open kdz V10T
• v29 G4 base. Thanks to @keriox
• System-less
• Debloated and removed MLT
• Stock kernel in permissive
• Unrooted (choose the method you want if any)
• Call recording enabled
• Knock ON with 3 taps minimum
• Lastest LG G6 apps and GAPPS, including amazing G6 camera
• Added SmartNotice and LGQuickRemote
• Init.d and busybox support
• Disabled signature verification
• VoLTE should be supported
• Reduced navbar

KNOWN BUGS

• G6 camera has some small glitches. Read second post
• Miracast FC. Fix here
• GlanceView doesn't work anymore
• Small bug is that you have to select swipe animation at first in settings to heard unlock sound (due to set phone as G4)
• Some G6 features like Always On, Face Recognition or Reader Mode are impossible here due to kernel/libs limitation

FLASHING INSTRUCTIONS

• UNLOCKED BOOTLOADERS!
• ONLY H815!
• ONLY CLEAN INSTALL!
• Consider make a backup with @steadfasterX tool
• I recommend to flash first lastest MM kdz (20p) and then lastest TWRP
• In lastest TWRP:

• Wipe system, data, dalvik&cache, cache
• Flash N bootloader (link on third post)
• Flash rom zip
• First boot will take much time, have patience!

ABOUT CAMERA

G6 camera is not perfect in our system. I haven't been able to fix some of the bugs that it has:

• Taking RAW pictures will freeze camera and you will have to reboot device. There are two solutions:
• First is to select RAW picture saving option, and then MINIMIZE camera app or just push recents button and return back. Camera will take RAW pictures perfectly, but if you change camera mode, and return to manual mode and RAW picture saving, then you have to repeat the method.
• Second is to flash original G4 Nougat camera. This flash WON'T REPLACE G6 camera. Just will add it and you will be able to take RAW pictures with it.
• Adding signature doesn't work (but yes in gallery app). I asked for some files required for it in G6 forum but nobody helped me.
• Camera effects only are available in video recording. For pictures is integrated in G6 main camera lib file, so it never will work.

• NOTICE that this will change the warning message about unlocked bootloader
• NOTICE that if you want to return back to MM then you have to flash MM bootloader again

First try at this new H-Rom G6 Port... and SUCCESS !
- Nandroid backup using TWRP of my v20p H-Rom.
- Then, full wipes in TWRP (dalvik/art, system, data, and cache).
- After, flashing the N-Bootloader, the H-rom G6 port, and the SuperSU bin.
- A long time rebooting (including the "lock bootloader" msg ), and then, android starts.
You know what ? No data problem !!! (I'm sure that my data problems were the modemst1 and modemst2 which are not present in this H-rom G6 port).
The only thing missing for me is the H-Setting app (maybe in a future release ?)

Glad to read that mate. Yes, seems that those modem files were problematic.

Yes, H-Settings would be a very nice addon.... Maybe in future, since it requires a very hard work

It's too soon to ask, you need to wait at least 2 cycles to let the battery and the kernel stabilize.

Anyways, I think it will be the same as MM if not a little bit better thanks to the improvements in Android N

I think the V10 camera port is much better. It is essential the G4 camera but with RAW video capabilities. If installed correctly to the system, there are no drawbacks or problems at all.

I haven't tried it but the v10 has nougat so it sounds like a better option for a port to the g4 considering the successful port in MM.

v10 camera is not MM.
we can now port nougat v10 camera. even better. but give us time we can't focus on everything. right now only 3 active devs !
and 2 more are on vacation.
5 have another phone -_-
so only 3 here. (for h815)

I'm not rushing you guys, I love what you all do for this phone, that many would consider dead. I just asked if MM V10 port works on Nougat because I believe it shouldn't
