- CAMERA: camera is not recognized. Rom already has G5 Nougat camera blobs
- LED BLINKING notificacion LED is always blinking, maybe is a bug in sources
- FINGERPRINT: with G5 fingerprint blobs, fingerprint hardware is not recognized

I leave attached the log for these bugs. Hoping that somebody will help on this.

@op can you upload your kernel source? (GPL)
Updated OP with kernel sources link

thanks a lot i used to use your roms.i have your H-rom with nougat and now i will wait your oreo rom final.since you resolve the camera and led blinking errors i say to you : thanks thanks thanks and goooood job
- I've managed to disable led, so now no it doesn't blink at all.... I think is better than nothing. I think problem is that V20 hasn't notification led.

- About camera I am a bit out of ideas. I am trying every camera blob from G5 Nougat, LineageOS Oreo and V20 Oreo.... for now no result. Seems that I have reached the point that sensors are recognized as hardware, but their software capabilities are not read properly..... so here I am.

It would be very nice to have some help here :good:

BTW, G7 port is also possible in G5. I've already play with it and UX7 is really nice ;)

I followed your dev project since your H-ROM for G4.. You're the first one to port real UX5 to G4 and now.. You're the ones to port V20 Oreo to G5.. You're really something.. Idk how to put this, but if you are doing UX7 port.. Please let us V20 user have some of your love too ( if possible ).. ❤

Thank you mate!

To me is impossible to make a G7 port for V20 blindly.... I would need a V20 to make a proper debug, but unfortunately I haven't one :(

A little update about camera:

- I've reached the point of the following image. I can open settings and I see that resolution of sensors are fine since I can change it. Unfortunately, neither stock nor any other camera work. I have tested infinite combinations with V20 Oreo camera files and G5 Nougat camera files and nothing. For now I am stucked and I don't know what more to test :( I'm starting to think that we'll need official Oreo for G5 for having proper camera blobs.

Reached this point, adding this file: libchromatix_imx268_postproc.so from G5 N to /system/vendor/lib, makes that mm-qcamera-daemon gives F and camera open but sensor are not recognized, and that lib is required for wide angle sensor.

Any kind of help here would be very appreciated.

In Oreo they are have been moved to vendor/lib/hw and vendor/lib64/hw

I'm going to send my G5 to LG to change screen due image retention because warranty is almost out, so in one week more or less I won't be able to do any kind of debugging :good:
