Just letting you all know that, I upgraded my bootstock to Oreo, Created my own flashable zips for it.. anyhow, I ended up with that TrustZone error 7 missmatch..
Now that I know what you peepz were talking about....... the g6-common repo limited the TZ to N firmware meaning anything Oreo related would fail to flash......
all because of fingerprint.......... Are you serious? We limited the flashing of a ROM so that anyone on Oreo cant flash it because they cant use the fingerprint?

That is ridiculous beyond........ Send a warning out, Tell peepz if they are on Oreo firmware, then Fingerprint wont work at this time.......
Dont limit them... some people might be screwed and on Oreo and have no way to get back to N, so they miss out on ROM because of that..........

So anyhow.. I reverted that commit.. For now................... and anyone On Oreo Firmware, you know the Drill.. (Fingerprint Dont work) but it might on my unreleased test builds, since I added Oreo Print.....
Some how the Kernel registers some hex value to bootloader and fingerprint. but anyhow, Just keep this in mind when you flash this ROM under N or O firmware.............

as I said before anyone wants to write up some notes and docs, your more then welcome to do so..........

You need a nougat bootloader for the fingerprint sensor to work. He's just wanting to warn those with versions that can't be rolled back.

If I'm missing it somebody let me know because that's what I got out of it. And have seen from my experiences.

Update News: Since using the newest Stock Oreo kernel source from LG, only things broke was Camera and Fingerprint.. for reasons stated before......
Well I decided today, that I will revert all of LG's Camera changes, then add in LG's latest Nougat Camera changes so that our current blobs will work...
I did already do that.. and I built a test kernel, it built without error, and I havent tested it yet.. but if all works out.. I will upstream Fingerprint changes as well.
and see if we can get the new kernel going on our Current blobs, when Oreo blobs are released I can revert the N changes and on the 2 sections and restore the Oreo back..

I am tired of waiting.. and I cant release a broken kernel, So I will make the temp changes just till our blobs are updated to Oreo.........

I hope all this works out.. because I wanna get started back on my kernel work.

Open Camera app works fine on latest beta build. 177K Antutu without any mods which is best my US997 has scored (repeated 3 times). Great work :good:

Info: I decided that I wanted to try something, So I reverted all of bluesleep that LOS originally implanted and I ported over
HTC's bluesleep with rfkill drivers, yes I made some custom changes to fit our needs... I have tested this and bluetooth seems to work very well and much better to me.
but since all devices are DIF, I would need you all to test it as well.. This is KERNEL we are talking about.. So in a bit im going to build for all devices,and send it up, then post it in my kernel thread.
I would like you all to flash and test it.. and let me know if blue is working as it should.. please test bt calling as well..

hmm strange.. I only ported over the audio/media and sensors, That means I need to look into that and see what da hell happen..........
sorry about that.. I will remove the latest vendor commits then till I can figure this out.

also, since the only DIF is the vendor blobs, Just go back to prev beta for now.................

same with everything else................
