Clean flashed. The new UI feels great, so much smoother and responsive. Especially the new launcher when using the app search function. However, I still could not get fast charge working. I don't have any other phone or charger to test it with to confirm, but fast charge used to work with this charger. Maybe somebody else can confirm as well. Great release nonetheless.

Hey, thanks for the feedback, yes I know about the fast charge issue, its the main priority atm.

Just updated to 4.2. Has anyone else had trouble sending picture messages? I also had this issue in 4.1, but not in 3. My APN settings appear to be correct and I have a strong LTE signal. I also tried the Google Messages app and got the same result.

Phone model? Network? Log? Ill need all of those 3. For log use an app called Logcat Extreme, By picture messages you mean MMS?

Don't use newest twrp. Try OrangeFox or SkyHawk linked above in this thread. Start with that, as I'm on OF recovery and zero issues flashing.

With OrangeFox dont allow me to use my flashlight.I cant find SkyHawk for my H870. Does a alternativ exists with full working features?

Great to hear that the audio and video started working properly.

Regarding the camera, there has been a known issue since Android 10 with some times the camera sensors not working properly. A known fix is to use LG up and reflash the nougat kdz file. Basically going back to original stock. Wayback to 2017! Once that's done reflash recovery, the newest Bootloader for your variant of the G6, and then Havoc 4. You know along with magisk and gaps etcetera whatever you want at that point. Definitely not fun but this does seem to rectify camera sensor issues that it sounds like you're having.

When I connect it while running, Uppercut says "unknown". When I connect it in download mode LGUP starts, but recognizes it as "Fulmics ROM". Starting a flash leads to an error, see attached pic. Has anyone an idea, how to bring everything back to work?

Why do you need flashlight in recovery? I'd say that's not a real issue.

Interesting. That's not a recovery issue then. Is your camera working? If not - from my experience - you'll need to use LG UP to reflash the Nougat KDZ for your variant to reset sensors, camera, flashlight.

Yes, I mean MMS. It's a US997 on ATT.

I started a recording on Logcat Extreme and tried to send a message, but it recorded zero lines. Is there a step I'm missing?

Okay, I installed this version. In the model list window it recognizes my phone correctly. But after that it says that LGUP can't load the model. So I installed a .DLL, but after that it says that "DLL for Fulmics ROM 4.2 is not installed properly. Please install a DLL package for the model." Any idea what to try next?

Did you install latest LG Drivers ?

If not : https://www.lg.com/us/support/software-firmware-drivers (at the bottom in the Popular Software section, click "see more" on LG Mobile Drivers and download for your OS)

For the KDZ idk since I never had this issue, maybe try to re-download the KDZ (I guess from screen that you have H870 version + be sure to get the one for your region, mine is FRA for France) from https://lg-firmwares.com/lg-h870-firmwares/

Hey there Ive reworked audio in the meantime so it should be better in the next release. Ive tried calling via SIM, TG and it seemed fine, no chopping.
