I'm not sure what he means as this Havoc build is only for G6. There is likely a Havoc build by another maintainer for Pixel but that is not OP.

Hard to say. Keep in mind that every g6 are old. Battery too.

Havoc for G6 looks and feels like original Google Pixel ROM. Clean and fast. Of course Pixel is much faster - has newer cpu etc. Havoc is more customisable. With Google Camera App G6 it's like old Pixel

My battery is crap (58% 1929mAh...) , i got a new one on the way in from China, but that takes time...

Atm it drains in 2 hours if i use it. in KA it seems like its going for max clocks most of the time... :/

Hmm sounds like something else is going on there... I've not heard of many having this unprecedented drain.

Personally I have always (since getting on custom roms in 2018 with the G6) underclocked the CPU. Usually 1593MHz on the CPUs that are bigger and 1100MHz or so on the smaller two. I use Interactive CPU scheduler. Also in Virtual Memory make sure you have Zram turned on, use lz4 compression option (better than lz0) and 2048 Mb for the size.

If you use games or graphic intensive apps then you could also experiment with underclocking the GPU but you'll have to see what works for you since that could affect performance of graphics heavy apps/games.

I do on my H872. I pin it down to the problem with LTE service in connection with Gapps. No time to investigate further. No reboot if I switch to 3G.

Don't know if you people did a clean flash or not since these type of issues can arise from that and I have none of these issues on H870 it's butter smooth. Except really low microphone volume which will be resolved in next build

Of course I do clean flash, I don't even restore anything, complete formatting of system and all storage partitions. Tried all kinds of gapps. I think the issue is compatibility with H872, but I don't see any other H872 reports. IDK, I'll just wait for the next revision and try again. I might do a catlog in the future if I have time. Since this is my daily, just can't afford to put it under testing for too long.

I rolled back to V3.9 but have issue with keylock database corruption or some sort and got lock out of my phone (easy to clear password, no big deal). Now, running on V3.8 and so far so good. To my surprise, I am getting 5G speed, haha, really, I am actual getting LTE+ with 113 mps download. Again big thanks to the developers.

Do i have to patch the kernel manually?

Also, does anyone know why WLD/Wakelock Detector refuses to ask for root? Nothing in magisk... Im trying something calles Wakeblock atm. But that's to much info...

Download Smartpak Kernel Manager on Play Store. You need root. Open app, grant Magisk access, then go to CPU section. There you can find the CPU governer option to change.

Hello. I tried to install Havoc 4.3 on my H870 using Skyhawk recovery but can't flash it. It gives me Error 1. I also tried to install it using twrp 3.3.2 but still no chance. What do I do now?
