Why Volte will never be fixed?
Devs for this device since 2017 have been trying to figure it out. 4 years later still nothing.

With LG Mobile dead there is literally no way it will happen. Only way would have been someone from LG releasing source to public - which never would have happened anyway - least of all when their mobile division is no more.

What's the best Kernel Auditor profile for this?
My battery is crap (58% 1929mAh...) , i got a new one on the way in from China, but that takes time...

Atm it drains in 2 hours if i use it. in KA it seems like its going for max clocks most of the time... :/

Hmm sounds like something else is going on there... I've not heard of many having this unprecedented drain.

Personally I have always (since getting on custom roms in 2018 with the G6) underclocked the CPU. Usually 1593MHz on the CPUs that are bigger and 1100MHz or so on the smaller two. I use Interactive CPU scheduler. Also in Virtual Memory make sure you have Zram turned on, use lz4 compression option (better than lz0) and 2048 Mb for the size.

If you use games or graphic intensive apps then you could also experiment with underclocking the GPU but you'll have to see what works for you since that could affect performance of graphics heavy apps/games.

I do on my H872. I pin it down to the problem with LTE service in connection with Gapps. No time to investigate further. No reboot if I switch to 3G.
do you guys experience sudden restarts with havoc?
Don't know if you people did a clean flash or not since these type of issues can arise from that and I have none of these issues on H870 it's butter smooth. Except really low microphone volume which will be resolved in next build 😁

Of course I do clean flash, I don't even restore anything, complete formatting of system and all storage partitions. Tried all kinds of gapps. I think the issue is compatibility with H872, but I don't see any other H872 reports. IDK, I'll just wait for the next revision and try again. I might do a catlog in the future if I have time. Since this is my daily, just can't afford to put it under testing for too long.

I rolled back to V3.9 but have issue with keylock database corruption or some sort and got lock out of my phone (easy to clear password, no big deal). Now, running on V3.8 and so far so good. To my surprise, I am getting 5G speed, haha, really, I am actual getting LTE+ with 113 mps download. (y) Again big thanks to the developers.

Ondemand seems a lot better, checking for wakelocks now, i don't think it really goes into deep sleep that often. :/

How do i change to lz4? i can't find that in KE :S
Do i have to patch the kernel manually?

Also, does anyone know why WLD/Wakelock Detector refuses to ask for root? Nothing in magisk... Im trying something calles Wakeblock atm. But that's to much info...

Hi, can you say me how to change the governor please ? It's been a long time I didn't touch this.

Since this thread is a bit silent atm I wanted to ask something I'm curious about for some time now.

I expect to use the G6 for at least another 2 years. But I'm already experiencing some performance troubles when in heavy use. I really love the phone, the cam, sound quality, sturdiness and of course this Custom ROM. But it may be time to at least give some thoughts to its successor.

I don't want to pay the price of a brand new flagship model I'm happy with a flagship phone which is up to 2-3 years old and ideally has a custom ROM which is as well developed as this one.

I heard many good things about the Google Pixel 5. And I want to avoid lineage roms. I never had good experiences with it.

      Do you have any thoughts?
Hey! Yeah we're getting close to this phone not being as viable anymore.

With that said, if you use lean ROMs like lineage, that's probably the best case scenario for usability going forward. I personally love the Havoc ROM as well, however, with a feature that packs in it usually does run hotter and sucks more battery down, as well as affecting performance, then other ROMs like lineage.

I cannot speak to the pixel 5, however in November last year I went to the OnePlus 7 Pro. I personally love it, and still use my G6 for some Media stuff and testing the ROMs for OP. My wife has a pixel 2 and she enjoys it still to this day. Still using Android 11 on their stock, no custom firmware yet. I figure when they move to Android 12, and the pixel 2 gets left behind that'll be about the time I'll probably look to do custom roms for her to extend the life.

Can I flash the rom directly from internal storage?
Yes. Just don't wipe internal before flashing.
      1
Can we use todays update as daily driver ? Are the battery drain and heating issues fixed like mentioned on previous pages
You should test it out for yourself. If you see some people mentioning issues is highly possible that they are isolated. Until you see for yourself and your usage style, you won't truly know.

I am using BSG Gcam 8.1 and it works perfect.

      BSG Gcam 8.1
It's working too, i forgot to set in advanced settings the HDR+ enhanced, without it was used normal HDR+ (not the Enhanced version - so setted frames didnt affect.

      Hey guys,
I apologize for inactivity but I have been reworking our device tree from ground up. So far I have fixed HDR content viewing and hopefully ironed out the wonky audio. BT calling is currently the top priority - Im working on it with x86cpu aka the LOS LG dev. Thank you for your patience!
      Cheers, Michael
