Hey zefie! Still rocking g6? Thought you have moved from it ages ago :p

My main is the locked-down Snapdragon Samsung Galaxy S8, but I recently recovered my old US997, so playing around again :)

My US997 has a broken SD Card slot though so... Been sideloading things. Not sure I would be useful rejoining the dev scene with an untestable SD slot, but maybe I don't need to :)

This ROM is my favorite currently, even though Android Q and some of my apps do not get along.

All of the cameras work. All 3 are accessible with the "camera flip" button.
The order of the cameras is "Standard Rear, Front, Wide Angle Rear".

Now I tried configurations of Havoc with (and without) the beast kernel and with the james dsp or viper4android. Both has the same drawbacks, wifi works almost the same if you are near the router, dsp controls after some time has no influence on phone sound, I mean that sound is better with them (battery discharges more quickly, but I tried to choose all battery saving features), but after some time the dsp controls do not work at all and deep bass disappears. In general, maybe I am not so advanced to configure all things properly, but it works at last in a fulmics way.
Maybe somebody has configured on this android 10 Q a good functional dsp and will explain how to do it?

I joined, but I think you have a pretty good ROM as is :) I've only noticed 2 issues so far.

1) Sometimes the sound kinda just gets lost in a buffer for a bit then plays like 1-3 seconds later.

2) Not sure if its the app, the rom, or just Android Q, but it seems some apps get cut off in landscape mode by the navbar. (notice the right side)

Regarding BT calling, I'm checking in to report that it's working great for me. Calls are actually clearer than they were with stock 21E.

I know G6 BT calling has been a thorn in devs' side for ages, so I'm glad to be able to confirm it's working.

How to turn off the "Suggestions" that appear at the top of Settings? I have frozen the Settings Suggestions app but that also removes the search bar in settings...which I'm not really sure that matters to me anyway.

Last build has changed WiFi MAC.
I recommend 05.02 build even with the old beast kernel (H870_-Beast-Kernel_PIE-A10.zip from 11.2019) I use hyper cpu governer (changed in kernel adiutor), wifi improves after some time, it reconnects quickly and is very stable, the only drawback - no automatic screen light correction, but you can move it to status bar and do it manually.
Of course, I use also viper4android v4afx-rootless_01.15.2020.zip installed from TWRP (remember after reboot to install viper4android-2.7.1.0.apk app).
Or maybe use the new build with the beast kernel (why they remove their sources from github?) Who will make a custom kernel now? I have made some for LG G3 based on the others sources and I can help now.

    I hve a H870 on 4.6, but it also happened on 4.5.

My phone get's pretty hot during charging, does someone else have this problem?
I've got the same problem. Was on Stock Pie and phone was just a little bit warm during charging. After a clean flash to this ROM, the phone gets obviously literally hot when charging.

    Update:

In ~1 hour charging from 50% to 65%, the temperature of my phone climbed from 31°C to 46°C (based on the readings on the lock screen), which hot.
I ran top command (at the end of the 1 hour charging) to find that the process iorapd consumes ~100% CPU constantly.
After a while (5-10 minutes), the CPU usage of iorapd returned to ~0 and the temperature dropped to 37°C and charging speed seemed to be normal again.

iorapd belong to the feature IORap introduced in Android 11 for reducing app start up time by I/O profiling and prefetching.

Hi guys, so i was using v4.6 as my daily driver and was quite happy with it but recently our college went back to on campus classes and i just found out that i couldn't connect to the college "edurom" free wifi. It is asking me to enter a domain.

So, it talked to our IT department they said they know this A11 issue and will solve it but it will take aleast 5, 6 months don't know why 😑

So, went back to A10 v3.9. So, what i want to know is is it possible to somehow use v4.6 and wifi module of v3.9 (A10) because i searched for hours on Google and tried many things but non work for passing domain in wifi. Thanks in advance 🙂
Hey, wont be possible, you will have to wait for them to fix it.

    Hey guys,
I apologize for inactivity but I have been reworking our device tree from ground up. So far I have fixed HDR content viewing and hopefully ironed out the wonky audio. BT calling is currently the top priority - Im working on it with x86cpu aka the LOS LG dev. Thank you for your patience!
    Cheers, Michael
