does anyone else have issues with google apps opening/closing constantly? I have to use a root explorer to delete them in order to resolve the issue.
I had that problem when I 1st loaded up the ROM,but a combination of things stopped it:
If you're talking about Google Drive/Sheets/etc......,basically the non-essential apps that won't break the ROM when frozen,or deleted:

Before trying any of the below, clear the Dalvik cache & Cache partitions in recovery & re-boot.If that doesn't do it,proceed with the following:
1) Make sure you've actually opened up each & every Google app, even if you don't use it & assign an account if you have more than one Google account on your phone.
2) If the spontaneous opening/closing persists, freeze the app if you're not going to use it.
3) If the offending app is one that you actually use & persists on opening/closing,use something like Titanium Backup or SD Maid to uninstall the app altogether & re-install as a user app from the Google Play Store.*

*If you're a bit apprehensive about deleting Google apps that are installed as system apps, make a backup of your entire ROM in TWRP before proceeding.
I myself haven't had any problems with deleting & re-installing the offending apps as user apps (Google Sheets & Google Drive),YMMV.

Please keep us posted on your progress/results.

I ended up delete and reinstalling what I actually use....which on that there is a lot of bloat in on this phone, I end up getting rid of like 500MB of crap ware that didn't need to be on my phone.

I just tested a restore and it worked completely fine on 2.61. As for the Google apps problem, I don't have a problem. Lol ????

Nope, everything is fine here. However, I deleted all the Google apps from the ZIP first before I flashed it because they are not Greenifyable if they're system apps, plus I don't use many of them (like Docs, Sheets, Wallet, etc.). Maybe delete them from the /system/app and /system/priv-app folders and just install them from the Play store?

That's probably all that's needed, the uninstall/reinstall of the Google apps may have been a bit overboard, but, just wanted to let people know that it wouldn't hurt to remove those that were affected (Drive/Sheets/Docs).

Something happened to my wi-fi tether, did work before with stock/rooted. Not sure if something got deleted or settings changed. I go to activate the hotspot and it's activated on my phone but cannot see it through another device. Figuring it might be the innate hotspot, downloaded foxfi and results in the same thing. Is there a possible fix? If not, I can always restore a twrp back up.

That's what happened to me. Tried 3 different tethering apps and nothing.

I may have to restore stock rom again. Something I must've frozen, caused my second screen to go dark... Can't get it to come back on lol. Have tried a battery pull, unfroze all the apps and still nothing.

Ok took a screenshot but silly me, it doesn't include the second screen lol
