Am I the only one who still has the broken screen on function on unofficial for 307? I'm wondering if I should try one of the other three. I downgraded back to Feb's last one that someone else suggested, and screen on is working just fine.

Also, I don't really see much progress on this ROM. I feel like I should be doing something to help, I just don't know where to start or how - I'd like to try and help figure out a permanent fix for the "second screen" area and the closure of the case.

I had that as well. Dirty flash the 3/2 unofficial and you should be fine. I can't comment on the latest unofficial because I'm too busy pounding a bottle of wine to flash it.

I'm gonna cut off any flaming right now and just say there has been great progress on the rom (we have working CM hooray!) and while I feel your frustration with the second screen, there are some easy fixes previously noted to get rid of those issues. Otherwise, enjoy the deliciousness of CM on this beast.

As far as I know, the dev isn't really working on the second screen issue anymore. While he's made great progress getting this far, unfortunately that's pretty much a deal breaker for me for this ROM. I wish it weren't the case and I wish I was able to help fix it but alas I'm an app dev not a ROM dev. I had a couple of idea that I threw out there but they weren't viable.

I read through a couple pages and didn't come up with anything but will this work on ATT's V10, I think it's an H900? From what I saw it looked like the only differences were a few bands.

We're all on the tmo variation, (h901) so I doubt anyone here can say. But I doubt it, to my knowledge no one has cracked it on any variant...

So is there no solution to just resizing the ui to get rid of the second screen or are we always going to have the top left cut out? Can't find an answer by searching

Edit: nvm solution is to root and get ui tuner and adjust resolution and overscan

Best settings seem to be default res and overscan 0,160,0,0 Why hasnt anyone tried that?

The only unfortunate thing is the second "screen" always stays on. What a stupid gimmick I will do my best to see if there is a way to blank it

edit2: nvm those settings don't work because it messes up some scaling in apps. Will report back later

Looks like the best option right now either 1440x2560 and 0,80,0,0 or default res and 0,160,0,0. Neither are ideal, but there is no way afaik to just tell android to start the resolution draw on the very bottom of the screen.

Really? Because the LG gremlins held a gun to your head and forced you to buy the phone... Out of all the phones in the world, this is the only one with a second screen... And you bought it... So who's stupid now?
