I am going to restore my twrp back (I need to find some thing anyway), and pull the apk and copy it to my SD card.

Ran great. I do wish we could add a silent mode which we can still have the alarm work. I know it needs to be modded, but just tossing things out there.

I'm not a fan of their priority notification system. It's terrible. Probably my biggest gripe with this device.

Just make a back up in twrp that way you can restore just how you like. Dont really recommend making backups of apps with tibu or others as it can bring stuff that could mess it. Up. Always recommend a clean fresh install that way eliminates possibility that your issue is from a restore.

You can get apk extractor from play store and this will pull the apk that want and save it so you can just click on it and install instead of downloading again. And save time

To all my beta testers, thank you so much for your feedback, it's good to know it seems that only expected issues are being reported. Beta 2 is up now, check the download folder in the original PM I sent you. I have trimmed some more fluff, as well as some stock apps out of this one, and added nova launcher and a bootanimation outside of the system.img, so that i can use this img as the base for the future full version Rom.

Please let me know if any issues arise with this new version, as I intend to start building the aroma installer with all the options on this base if all reports are good.

For anyone who has PMd me and hasn't gotten a response, please forgive the delay, I wanted to get version 2 finished and uploaded before I sent of round 2 of invites, so watch your inbox this afternoon.

Again, THANK YOU to everyone who has provided feedback, suggestions, and help in this process. I hope the final product is everything you want in a custom ROM.

I put together a flashable zip that puts the files back in the ROM. It's in the folder now. The problem is that when you just try to install the app it goes to /data/app, but these are system apps that run from the /system/priv-app folder. This phone is also deodexed, with each app being stored in a folder and the .odex in a sub folder, the installer includes these odex files and retains the original folder structure. It also includes the music widget, and the second screen music controls.

Let me know how it works for you, it is fine on my phone.

Did you guys get v2 to boot properly? i flashed as normal and let it sit for 15min as normal,, started going through the setup.. every time jsut after the part you check the google services stuff (backup, location, etc) it goes to a FC for LG setup wiz and then keeps cycling back to the startup screen.

This doing it for yall as well?

Just flashed, at the end of the LG setup it force closes and can't get passed it even with a restart. Will attempt a wipe of caches.

Didn't work. Both wipes of cache and fresh re-install.

Awesome. Glad could point that out and that it wasn't just me.

They flashable you put on site. Is that just music or all apps or what all it put back?

Also one thing I noticed [for consistancy] was that there are 2 settings styles. If you click settings app you get one style and. If you go to settings via pull down you get another style.

Just something noticed. Also when using app extractor I noticed video app was listed but video wasn't an option in list. Had to download my own player for videos

Figured it out... if you go through and skip the google email setup then it will let you finish the initial setup. I'll compare versions and see what has cause this to break. I'll upload version 0.21, as well as a patch for those who have already downloaded the version 0.2 installer, so you don't have to download a full rom again. Thanks for your help tracking this down.

No worries. While you are fixing that up I am just messing around with xposed on stock. V1 was running great already
