[ROM][H910|H918|LS997|US996|VS995|H990*] UNOFFICIAL LineageOS-15.1 for LG V20

I am looking for a version of any android v20 rom which which does this: Uses the whole of the screen including the second screen portion in a standard way without any kind of second screen functionality as you get in stock. I flashed a rom that did this some months ago but I don't remember which one it was! If it can be done with the rom provided in this thread which one with which kernel should I use. Thanks.

Lineage 16 but look for the gamma for Pie since there's another gamma kernel you use for Lineage 16

My phone can connect to LTE networks but I have no internet/GSM.
LTE+ is working fine as well as all other.
I have a H990DS, it was working fine as stock and I think it worked as well when I installed it. But I was using stock in France (where I am now) and I set it up in Canada. I didn't pay attention about it until now (LTE+ antenna near my home got shut down).

Did someone already experience that ? Do you have any clues ?

I'm getting super frustrated with my data. The first problem I have is sometimes texting pictures or sending pictures through FB messenger don't go through. I have to restart my phone for it to send. If I wait five minutes before sending another picture, it usually won't go through and I'll have to restart again.

I can deal with that, though. My big problem is not getting calls (and now texts). A lot of the times, my husband calls me, it goes straight to voicemail. I do use YouMail as my voicemail, and that does block spam calls, but it doesn't always just go to vm. I would assume if it was blocking it because it thought his number was spam, it would block it every time.

Whenever I call out, it takes between 15 seconds and 1 minute and a half to actually ring. Very few times it just "hangs up" before ringing and I have to try again to get it start ringing. I've checked a few times and my data connection shows H when I was talking, but then it goes back to LTE off the phone. What would the correct preferred network type be for T-Mobile? My setting is currently on LTE/TDSCDMA/WDCMA.

I just turned on roaming to see if it'll fix any of these problems, but I don't want to spend a million dollars in roaming fees. Oh, and for not getting texts recently, today my husband said he'd call me on his lunch. 45 mins after he usually takes it, I get 2 texts. One saying he's on lunch and to call, and one saying his lunch is over and he'll text me on his next break. I was on my phone waiting for him to text, so it's not like it came in and I missed it. I just received it way after he sent it.

Can someone pretty please help? The people on this thread have been super helpful for the other problems I've had, and I'm hoping someone will have some advice on how to fix this problem =(

Have you had any success with this? I have the same problem. Started on lineageos 16 and then tried lineageos 15.1 and same thing. The phone service will periodically not work. I need to make a call to get the phone service back.

Has anyone else had this problem? My phone recently started playing what sounds like a phantom alarm sound. I have no alarms set when it starts. Additionally, the sound seems only tied to the Phone volume level.

My details:
Carrier: Verizon
Phone: LG V20 VS9985
Build: Latest September build
Notes: Clean install, wiped system and data prior to install. no custom kernels or mods.

I am going to start to taper off building these. This might even be the last, as in don't expect more, but I could if any serious security concerns arise. I also am unable to test these anymore due to the age and complexity of building 15.1/16.0 and now 17.0

I think you should only update Lineage 15.1 if there's another huge security concern. Thank you.

it appears that the latest lineageos build has issues with some apps. (cpu-z, gmail, banking apps, etc) due to java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException on TextLine.java.

Update you gapps. Wipe caches.. if still a problem, factory reset. It's not a build issue.

I see, I tried wiping caches, updating google apps and stuff and certain old apps seems to still crash so I went back to an older build for now.
I linked that because I overheard from other devices that having this commit from 8 december fixed it so I assume the 4 december build for los15.1 doesn't have it

16.0, but ensure you upgrade from 15.1... or.. dirty flash over 15.1... but maybe wait a week until the Jan security patches come out.

FYI, I did a clean flash of resurrection remix last weekend on my previously stock h918 backup with 10d firmware (need to take apart my daily). Everything seemed to work out of box, although, admittedly, I didn't put a SIM in and haven't tested BT.

I assume the pure LOS 16 build would be the same. If you think the extra data point would be useful, I'll wipe and flash.

Can't get camera to work on H990DS. It's strange because it worked before. I deleted cache, dalvik cache, internal storage, system, data before installation as always. Camera doesn't crash but I can only see black screen when I open camera. Do anyone know what issue could be?
