I don't think it will update. You will get an update failed error message. I think you need to be on a stock rom to update via ota

don't update it, it might go through but you will at least end up in a bootloop.

with that said, after reading the update thread for updating to 253, i have decided to not release it.
on my xperia s and xperia t you could just flash a custom rom of a new firmware with cwm and root in the zip and not loose anything.
after reading about updating our new xperia line to the latest 253 firmware i'm afraid it wont work.

so with that said i'm going to just create an update after this step is done.

oh no I'm still working on the rom, but follow the update to 253.

Then when it's installed i'll have a 253 update to flash back the mods.

I think you could take a break and wait a little for 307 to be available pretty soon.

What can I do to this rom so that I can able to update to .253. The update keeps failing when I try to install it. Are there files missing or do I have to add anything for HackitZ rom to appear as stock so that I can update?

You should not try and update from the rom, either go back to stock and update, try nuts update (you will losse all parts of my rom) or wait for an update from me.

i'm busy right now so i have no eta, on a release date. i have two boys and a wife so time is hard to come by.

why after installing that firmware i have lost sync zone features and messaging features in PC companion????

Just added a 253 version, it's stock.
the rom is rooted, deodxed, busy-box is installed, and cwm is integrated.

more visual tweak are coming.

But Sony keeps you busy man, while you just finished with 253 there is JB 4.2 is available.
can you post Docomo blue for 253 separately?

yeah i just saw that but figured i'd upload 253 anyways, i'm working on 423 as i post this.
