Thanks for the tip, but... I installed tasked and did not find a way to do this. Furthermore this app has the worst user experience I have seen in a while, so I am not willing to pay for this.
After that I also searched the web for tasker related to the 802.1X problem and it seems that when tasker changes the lockscreen to insecure it also wipes the user cert storage rendering it useless in this case
tasker is a working tool for pros, not just another app that has to look nice. user experience is great for me and it's the app (+plug-ins) that does basically everything you can't have or don't want to have with dozens of additional apps.
after all up to you, live with the situation or use the tools that are available and as to user cert storage this can be dealt with scripting. all depends on the importance this has for you, if you give up so quickly it probably is low priority which would mean, not solution then. again, your choice.
