Features of Hamsterbread

• Extended Power Menu Mod

• No ascending Ringtone anymore, full volume from the start. (Modded Phone.apk)
• Hacked Camera.apk (Low Battery and shoot with Power Button)
• Removed Samsung Bloatware and all apps, that can be downloaded trough the Market (Maps, Youtube, Layar etc.)

Installation

Do this, even if you are on a Gingerbread Custom Rom. Except a JVH Rom, than you can just flash my rom!​

• Download all the 3 Files from the Table above
• Flash JVH with Bootloader with Odin
• Wait till your phone is bootet up
• Flash CFRoot Kernel 3.1 JVH with Odin - put it in PDA
• Again: Wait till your phone bootet up
• Now copy Hamsterbread.zip to your internal SD Card
• Boot to recovery mode
• Navigate with Volume and Power Button and choose the following:
  

  install zip from sdcard
  choose zip from sdcard
  Hamsterbread.zip

• Now my rom get's installed - should reboot automatic after install
• ]Now wait, smoke a cigarette or do something else, boot can take up to 5 minutes - just relax!
• Congratulation - your phone is now Hamsterized

Yes, its the Androdena Galassia Theme. I was too lazy to write the whole name.

I made my own bootanimation. If you want to see it, you have to apply root again from the kernel. The root which comes with my rom wont work on the first boot if you come from an eclair version.

THE Rom is in GERMAN! How do I change it to English?

EDIT: Found the way to change it.

It should happen after you enter your pin?

How did you manage it? I thought it changes automatic to the language where you are. Happened to me with some csc files that they were englisch and after entering the pin it changed the language to the right one.

Editet first post with instructions how to change the system language if it is german. Sorry for that. Will try to fix this.

Really a good job here.

Unfortunately not for me, as your JFS choice makes me rattle.

The JFS implementation is, for now, way too unstable and unreliable on Galaxy S.

By the way, good thought about providing CWM's zip as part of the rest, seem to be a very good idea.
